HI BUDDIES! Just wanted to add a little afterthought since I did a lot of fanboying in this video and didn't get a chance to really analyze the lyrics much-- I love the colourful similes used throughout the song, and how they referenced their past with lines that included "glass bead," possibly the maze referencing "Labyrinth" and other references I may have missed. They talked a lot about leaving the past behind, and letting their childhood die (letting the timid child go,) and I know that they used to have a school trilogy which makes me think they are keeping the story alive. Let me know if that's completely off-track and I'm just reaching here but that's how I interpret it! And yes, I realize the Apple reference is talking about the Garden of Eden and temptation, hence the biting of the apple and horns growing. As for the dance, I definitely analyze it better in the dance practice reaction, so if you aren't here for the fanboy reaction too, timestamp is 11:15 choreography video is 7:05 Can't wait to check out more from them, and hope you enjoyed!

When you mentioned that the choreography looks like a tree you were right. They are supposed to be an apple tree. That's why Sinb has red hair to represent the apple.

Apple is one of my favourite songs from them! It’s very ethereal and mysterious and the MV is my personal favourite from them! I just think the whole concept was so pretty and something that kpop hasn’t really seen in a while. Plus the transition from the white to the black outfits had a great impact (they even did it on a few of their comeback stages-mcountdown and Inkigayo). I remember watching the MV for the first time and I was so surprised about that drastic change. I’m very excited to see what they’ll do in the future! And I can’t wait to see more of them on your channel! Thank you for watching them!

As we know they're already became a Witchers in Mago so in Apple, they're storied about how they're turned into Witchers. One of the reason is because of RED APPLE. But we should know why they're eat that apple. If you watch their 'A tale of Glass Bead: Butterfly Effect' clips. You can see Eunha was follow the one sound from darkness. That SIRENS called. Have you heard bout Sirens in greek methodology? It's related to something like mermaid with half bird. Sorry I didn't know well bout this. So through their merchant book, Eunha doesn't have blue butterfly anymore to turn back time. The last time she use that butterfly, she fails to save Yerin, so Yerin died. There's nothing she can do except pay for every chaos she already did by sold their soul to devil (SIRENS) that's why she eat that Apple.

That's why this album called 'SONG OF THE SIRENS'. One more thing, in this Mv, Yerin was the only one who trapped in Labyrinth. That's refer to her death, Eunha fails to save her from Labyrinth. Even in Crossroad MV, Yerin the only one shown committed suicide in bathtub. So...yeahh... their trilogy went so deep this time.

@@NamiStuff Yes, I did not wrote this theory from my own. All their trilogy is already explained in the Merchant Book from their album. They're witchers. Gfriend methodology is not as easy as you think. They include supernatural elements and something related to Greek History. Song of the sirens even a seductive creatures of Greek Mythodology. That's why their latest album called Walpurgis Night. Search..what is the meaning of Walpurgis Night & you couldn't believe what have u read.

@@shaeoff8493 Actually, in Crossroads, the only one that was ‘lost’ was Umji (let’s not use the word ‘death’ just yet, since we are still not entirely sure whether it’s a breaking off of friendship + death or breaking off of friendship only, so I’m gonna just use ‘lost’). It was implied in the aquarium scene where Yuju rejected her hand and also in the magnified shadow shot of Umji’s eye near the end. Yerin was actually ‘found’ or ‘saved’ as shown by SinB pulling her out of the train (a scene later in the MV, long after the bathtub drowning scene). And everyone was smiling at the end (not inclusive of Eunha, since she is the protagonist controlling the entire events), except for Umji. So, yes, it’s Umji in the Crossroads era and not Yerin. I can’t remember why Yerin is the chosen one for the labyrinth scene here (Was it relating to the Fingertip MV? Hmm, I can’t remember), although I know some KZreadrs that are very good with analyzing Gfriend’s storyline explaining why Yerin is chosen for it, but I can’t recall right now. You can check their videos out! I think one of it is Bookish Theories (not sure if I spell it right). They also referenced the Märchen storybooks so their analyses are very convincing. And I think you meant ‘witches’ haha but no worries! it’s a minor spelling thing

In all honesty, I didn't like this song when I first heard it. It's grown on me since then, but it's still not my favorite GFriend song. I prefer their more string-based songs such as "Time for the Moon Night", "Sunrise", and "Crossroads".
