I LOVE their Awkward Silence dance practice video. SO cute and funny. This video is from the period when they still had 9 members. Woojin left in Oct 2019, and Stray Kids have been an 8-member group ever since. So in the early videos you'll see 9 people, and later, only 8.

The entire theme of the song & lyrics is brushing off negativity & negative comments or situations in order to avoid conflicts that are unnecessary. The entire message is the just stay cool in difficult situations & have fun or laugh at yourself. Which really comes through in their choreography & mood during the dance. Fun fact in the music video they had a real life "awkward silence" moment when Bang Chan was supposed to pretend to hit the camera and he mistakenly made contact knocking it to the floor and they kept rolling & the actual awkward silence when everyone panicked that the camera was broken ended up being the perfect metaphor for the song and the director kept it in 😂

I enjoyed your reaction to this.. and this choreo is a very different style than their usual ones but well within their wheelhouse. The humor is real cause they really enjoyed being together. The MV is very funny/cute and it will make so much more sense, having seen the routine. The sight gags are timed so well because they put them where they need to be and fit the music to it. Please don't stress about not knowing who is who at all time.. you will get there.. Stay understand & won't boot you from Stayville dance hall🤣 but if someone does... I know a back door in... 🖖🏽

Yes Idols go through an a lot and it can really depend on the company they end up in as to how well they are treated. Whilst JYPE has issues and the boys have made it through many horrible experiences, they have been given a huge amount of freedom that other idols rarely get. Thankfully because Bang Chan has been a trainee and then an idol at JYPE for such a long time he has a lot of authority when it comes to the group, this includes taking care of his members and their needs. He sees and has create a group that’s a family (from behind the scenes their managers are included in this family dynamic and likely other staff members are too). I think this has contributed greatly to not only their success as musicians (their music is truely them) but it has also contributed to their happiness in pursuing their passion of music and dance. Whilst this song may seem really different for you because their music tends to be on the darker more serious side, this song is showing a part of who they are. A part that is often showcased in their extra content ‘mv making of’ videos, tour and showcase behind the scene vids, their Carrie toy content and Vlives. They h ave quirky personality’s, they have so much fun together whether they are working or not. So this song is truely a part of who they are. If you’d like to see more of this side of them, check out their behind the scenes content, it’s wonderful.
