Welcome to *"EXO-planet"* , actually *EXO* are one of the biggest band in Kpop, if all the other groups are talented, *EXO* are monsters, they got every thing specially vocals (9 members but all of them are vocally amazing, the vocalist can Rapp and the main rapper sing crazy), EXO's *Chen* has 4 octave vocal range can hit 5 female key, they sing all music styles, but officially they are kings of *RnB* , also as you see all of them are superb dancer, PS: Korean Government Officially Awarded EXO With The Title *“The Nation’s Pick”* , they are the most awarded band in Kpop and 4th in the world (they still keep this position even when they boycotted all awards shows since 2017, so they may loose this one this year), *"kings of vocals"* , not well know in western country lack of promotion, hate SM For their concept it's so hard to explain in a comment, but for every mv you can find a video theory on KZread or Google Thx for the reaction and sorry for my English

Not lack of promotions on western but from the very start, LSM never plan on promote them on US. Exo is a group that heavily based on China and Korea (hence that's why they debuted with 4 CHINA MEMBERS and 8 KOREAN MEMBERS, also until now they only still release two version of their song, Korean and Chinese (for Japan, sometimes they release song only for Japanese fans)

EXO is the group that has the most fascinating concept in this sector. EXO’s concept is they are Aliens from an EXO planet, their planet got destroyed and they came to earth from a planet called EXO PLANET and the members have super powers such as light, wind, water, ice, lightning, fire and unicorn. Red Force, the enemy of EXO kidnapped EXO members, took their DNA and created X-EXO the clone of EXO. Unlike EXO, X-EXO is trying to replace the original EXO by abusing their powers. In Obsession music video, we watch EXO and X-EXO battle, and in the video, all of the members are fighting their own clones. In Obsession music video color dressed and make-up ones are clones X-EXO, black dressed and no make-ups are real EXO also all of EXO's music videos are conceptually interconnected, for example, EXO has been giving spoilers for their next music videos years ago in their clips, concerts and concert VCRs. Girl don't focus too much on the MV and lyrics because the storyline is something on a whole other level. You need to see everything of them to start making theories❤️ I still loved your reaction, EXO's main dancers are Sehun, Kai & Lay btw. @@RadostinaPetrova if you choose to do Obsession next you'll see that they are just 6 members. Its because Lay (the only chinese member left )is promoting in China bec of the political issue between China and SKorea. And also 2 members were enlisted in the military. Originally EXO debuted as 12 members. 8 Korean and 4 Chinese. But 3 Chinese members left a couple of years after they debuted for personal reasons and issues with SM, the company.

Exo is so versatile in terms of their music, they have many genres in their songs and their title track is always iconic, and it fits so well to them bcause their vocals are insane (that's why people call them the Vocal King in 3rd generation of kpop) and have various voice colors. They have so many achievements, 9 years career, distinguished kpop boygroup, and legendary (many people say it). Unfortunetly, they don't promote to US and Europe, they just focus promoting in South Korea (of course), China and Japan (it's their marketing). It's only a bonus for them to be well-known in the other countries. Now they are in hiatus bcause the members start to go to military. Their last comeback is Obsession with only 6 members (9 members in total).

Thank you for reacting to more EXO after Kai. You might want to react to: Kai's "Reason" dance practice. Also : "Loveshot" mv+live stage, "Ooh La La La" dance practice+ live stage, "The Eve" dance practice+live stage (on the smooth and sexy spectrum), "Electric kiss" mv+dance practice, "Obsession" mv+dance practice (more aggressive). In my opinion, EXO 's choreos are characterized by smooth execution, emphasizing and matching the musicality and the expression of the lyrics. Kai being the smoothest criminal of them all!

On the other hand, looking forward for you though to react for some of TAEMIN's Mv again. If you want to see Lee Taemin's versatility. With his lyrical & jazzy movements that give life to the song. You should watch or react to his song Flame of Love & Sayonara Hitori (Goodbye). You'll see there how controlled, elegant & expressive he is. Then, if you want a bit same like Criminal. Want MV was also cool like that one. Full of metaphoric content in the lyrics & music video. The dances no doubt you can count on it. While his Move mv though is a bedroom song, like what some of the reactioners said. With a gender fluidity movements to match the viby song. 👍

YAY! I love new reactors discovering EXO! So EXO and NCT are from the same company. EXO isn't really hip hop as much as they are R&B (although they do any style music). Although they are definitely more old school (90's and 2000's sound is their trademark) while NCT is much more hip hop and more current music trends. As others have said, EXO's concept is deep. Like Alice down the rabbit hole deep. You fall in and you will end up in Wonderland! There are so many theories of all of their storyline clues, etc. People always say you have to watch the videos in order to understand it, and to SOME extent that's true, although others would disagree, based on certain clues. I would wait to dive into their concept too hard since it is mind blowing. A good channel for EXO-L's or those discovering EXO is Cesar Oh. She has done a group guide, individual member guides, and is now starting a series on her version of EXO's theory(ies). It is already the 3rd video in her concept guides and she has only gotten through 3 of their MV's (maybe). I have also seen a lot of theories that all 3rd gen, and now 4th gen (and some 2nd gen even) groups/artists at SM Ent are tied up in EXO's concept.

You need to watch "the eve", "electric kiss"!! Exo story line is so long, you need to watch it from mama-history and read some exo's theory to know about it, you need watch exo-history too!

If you turn to learning K-pop,you can't missing EXO, because theyre called KING OF K-POP gen 3, even they are hiatus now they'r still famous because theyre can be talented singer,actor and succesfull model👑

Yeees, the kings are here. EXO is a bunch of extra powerful vocals (that's why they're known as the vocal kings in Kpop) and absolutely crazy charisma, especially on the live performances..they're truly monsters on the stage. EXO has a very versatile range, vocally and in dance forms even. They dance according to the mood or tone of the song, so you'll always find variety and impact. I suggest you to watch dance practices of THE EVE, ELECTRIC KISS and OH LA LA LA. It'll show you their diverse dance routines!!

Everything EXO is involved in, and I literally mean almost everything, is connected in some way to their concept and storyline. EXO's MVs are kind of like a movie -- it's a movie that has been going on for the past 8 years -- since predebut -- and it has no sign of coming to an end any time soon. The one thing you have to keep in mind with all of EXO's MVs, and I really mean all of them -- including their sub-sub-unit MVs and a majority of the member's solo MVs. And because Baekhyun and Kai are involved, even SuperM's storyline -- is that they are all connected and they all tell a little more of EXO's story and why they are on Earth, etc. To truly understand EXO you need to understand that EXO debuted in 2012. "Mama" is EXO's debut song and MV and It is how EXO was introduced to the world and it explains the group's concept. So to really understand EXO you need to start from the very beginning and watch both of their "Mama" MVs. From day one, EXO's concept is that they are aliens from planet Exo and they came to Earth with superpowers to protect the Tree of Life from the Red Forces. Each of the members has a superpower that is unique to them and almost every MV will have at least one, if not all of them, using their powers. Exo, as in exoskeleton, means "outer," so as a member of EXO they are outside the ordinary.The group's concept comes from the real term exoplanet, which is a term that is used for a planet that is outside our solar system, so their name was chosen to represent the fact that they are stars that are "out of this world" when it comes to their talents. SM Entertainment, and its founder, Lee SooMan, has all of EXO's release dates and concepts planned out for years in advance, so it all has been designed to be another chapter in EXO's whole storyline. Now you also need to know that In the beginning there was 12 members and they were split up into 2 groups EXO-K and EXO-M. EXO-K sang and performed their songs in Korean and EXO-M sang and performed those same songs in Mandarin Chinese. EXO-K had 6 Korean members and EXO-M had 4 Chinese members and 2 Korean members. However, since then, 3 of the 4 Chinese members have left the group (short answer to focus on their solo work back in China) but there is still one Chinese member left, Lay. (Any performances or MVs you watch that took place prior to May 2014 you will see all 12 of the members. Kris and Luhan left in 2014 and Tao left in 2015.) However, now, because they no longer have enough Chinese members they no longer do separate promotions, but they still produce almost all of their MVs and main songs in both Korean and Mandarin they just now promote all as one big group EXO with 9 members. (There are 9 members in "Monster.") So each new MV or project from EXO tells another part of the story, and over the years we fans have started to create a timeline and idea of what we think each part of the story is telling us. As the English lines in EXO's "Monster" say ... They're "Creeping, Creeping Creeping .... Creeping in your heart babe" "You can call me Monster (because) I'm creeping in your heart babe." "She got me goin' crazy." The song's called "Monster," so the words are about acting like a monster: "Don't be afraid, love is the way ... i'm sorry, you make me sooo craaaazzzy, you know you dooooo." LOL So the floating watch and the car that is on fire in reverse, etc., I think was -- on top of being a metaphor in the story -- is also supposed to be the members using their superpowers. And the snake you see is supposed to mirror the beat of the song and theme of the MV. So, like a monster, the beat of the song kind of slithers like a snake as a metaphor for the way the guy slithers in and out of the relationship stealing warmth and affection from the girl, but in the end, leaving her cold and alone like a cold-blooded snake, etc. However, the lyrics of the song really have very little to do with the story in the MV. "Monster" is one example where, if you want to know what the song is about, you should look up an English translation of the lyrics. Because the lyrics in the song tell a different story than the story in the MV. In the song the members are talking about a girl and they are telling the girl that "You can call me Monster" because I know I am bad for you and I will ruin you. I know that when we are over that I will have destroyed everything that is good about you, but I don't care because I want you so much that it doesn't matter to me. So ... "Don't be afraid, love is the way ... you can call me Monster ... because I'm creeping in your heart babe." The song is about possessing a girl and using her up and throwing her away in the end, but the MV really is about EXO's origin story and about the fact that they are aliens from Planet Exo who have come to Earth on a mission. Also, the majority of the choreography for "Monster" has to do with the members using their powers, so if you know what you are looking for, you might be able to see in the choreography where they are using their powers. The X they make represent EXO. In "Monster" every move of the choreography has been designed to be an extension of their story. For example, D.O. has the power of earth (dirt) which gives him super strength, so during his part in the song and choreography you will see that he waves his hands and the other members are pushed away from him or pulled toward him. Xiumin (Yellow hair) has the power to control snow/ice/frost, so during one part of the choreography you will see that each of the members pause as if frozen as he moves in front of them. Sehun has the power to control wind, so during his parts, you will see the other members shuffle around him as if they are creating a windstorm. And the part where they are sitting on the ground is supposed to represent a sundial -- EXO gets their power from the eclipse and their powers are affected by planetary and solar phenomenon, so the sundial is meant to represent the passing of time and their connection to the sun. Fun fact: At the end when they are saying "Creepin', Creepin' Creeping ..." the dance move they are doing is the signature dance move the creep from the 1990s American girl group TLC from their song "Creep." Do you see the creep in EXO's moves? And you should also make note that "Lotto" is a prequel to "Monster," so when you watch "Lotto," just keep in mind that what you saw happen in "Monster" is what is going to take place after, or in conjunction with, the events in "Lotto", and both MVs might make a little more sense to you then. How "Monster" and "Lotto" tie into EXOs larger storyline is a little open ended, but I am pretty sure, that "Lotto" is the prequel to "Monster." So, if you pay attention, I think the story starts out in "Lotto" where the members have somehow infiltrated this big gambling ring and are maybe sort of undercover as they work to uncover a clue or something they need in order to accomplish their tasks here on Earth. I think the underground gambling establishment is run by a gang of bad guys who are probably members of the Red Force. "Lotto" is where we are introduced to a girl who is being held captive. And ultimately, I think what EXO are trying to do is rescue the girl from the Red Forces or the bad guys, but they are trying to do it without blowing their cover or being found out. So, that's why you see in "Lotto," and continued in "Monster," the members are fighting against the FBI or police because the police have come in to take down the gambling ring and rescue the girl, which is also what EXO are trying to do. For some reason the members of EXO don't want to be discovered, so they play along as if they are part of the bad guys. But in the end, as you see in "Monster," Baekhyun disguises himself as one of the police and helps the other members escape before they are taken to jail and/or captured by the Red Forces, etc. If you want to follow EXO's storyline, some other scenes to take note of: You see Lay crouched in the middle of what looks like a pile of people -- I'm not sure whether these are the FBI agents that the members of EXO have taken down, or if these are members of the Red Force -- and I think he is checking to make sure they are OK and possibly trying to use his power of healing to fix things and heal the injured. This will be important to remember, but I will explain more when you see "Lotto." Because some theories believe that EXO are traveling between time periods and dimensions, I believe in "Monster" they also might be showing how some of the members are arriving on scene at different moments in the timeline of events that are taking place in the MV -- the members don't necessarily arrive at the location together. For instance, you also see Kai standing on or near a giant pile of people as well, and he seems to be standing over them. Some have pointed to this as possibly showing evil X-EXO Kai -- Kai's alter ego clone that was created by the Red Forced and introduced in EXO's "Obsession" MV -- who has done something bad, but I think this may be showing good EXO Kai, who has just shown up at that moment, observing what has taken place. Because Kai has the power of teleportation he is the one that is in charge of bringing the members together and traveling between time and space, so I think he has shown up from a different time or place and is now trying to figure out what has happened and what needs to be done to fix things, etc. Unfortunately, as you can see, what makes EXO's storyline even more difficult to follow is the fact that nothing is ever in chronological order and everything has a tendency to blend together. So you really have to pay close attention to every detail, to even begin to make connections. What's more fascinating is that all their MVs are connected to each other. They are really sticking to the storyline (which is I think the best in KPOP) For example, their debut was on 2012 but from that year, they already gave hints about their future music video years after. All the things EXO will do is already planned, even before the company found the members that fits in EXO.

Exo are one of the leading Groups in Kpop. Be it in Style or Dancing they're the ones who make trends. Be it the lip piercing in this MV from Baekhyun. The make-up or Styling in general. So yes they're kinda old school in terms of they sound like Kpop and not American pop but in their Kpop Generation they influence a LOT ^^

I've recently gone deeper with the different theories up to the obsession era and one of my favorite ones is the one where everything EXO is going through is a simulation or dream-like state created by the red force to find where the two halves and the heart of the Tree of Life are hidden. In this theory it is also shown how important each member is and how conflicted they are within themselves because they don't know what to believe anymore. There is also the theory that there is a traitor or spy among the members and they are trying to find him, and that also Baek is the key to finding the heart of the Tree of Life or that he's the heart himself. There is also the theory that there are certain members that can come in and out of dream-like state and that are able to communicate with the other members, as well as how EXO counterparts and pairs are part of the whole plot. I was going through comments and I haven't seen anyone mention it so: EXO are NCT'S Seniors (from the same company) so they're like their mentors and big brothers, some of the NCT members trained with EXO members before debuting (in fact Johnny was in the initial line-up for EXO, he was gonna be their Maknae) and they're all friends!

btw there are some part of the choreo where they are using their superpowers 😅

Since you're into dancing, you might want to check out their dance practices for The Eve, Electric Kiss, Oh La La La, Love me right and Obsession 💕

Electric Kiss and the Eve are amazing EXO songs. ^_^

Every exo MV has concept and storyline connected to the other songs. You better start with MAMA, their debut song. Then you would have a glimpse of how the Exoplanet works.

For sure you should react to Growl, Wolf, and Obsession. And perhaps their debut song MAMA the mv may help you understand a little about the background of ther "alien/wolf" concept there isn't a specific timeline of which video to watch in which order storyline wise, but fans have a lot of online theories and speculations of how they all go together. From them leaving their Exo planets to protect the Tree of Life, using their super powers (each member has a power and is demonstrated in MAMA as well as other videos), and they are captured by the Red Force, experimented on, cloned and they break out of the facility. This video goes hand in hand with Lucky One and you see them in the being experimented on and their powers neutralized by the Red Force. In other videos like Kokobop and Power, they regain their powers to try and defeat the Red Force. Then in Obsession you see their clones come and fight them and win. Musically, they have a few sounds. Obviously they are a pop group so they have plenty of more poppy songs (Lucky, XOXO, Power, and their new song that just released today Don't Fight The Feeling), but you also hear a lot of funk/disco/jazzy songs (Growl, Love Me Right), hip hop/darker/harder hitting songs like Overdose, Lotto, Monster and Obsession. Kokobop has a reggae feel and you may want to react to that dance too because it's a bit different. The have plenty of ballads and soft songs as well. Exo is kind of a eclectic sort. They don't stray toooo far from what is their pop/rnb/funk style, but they do have different variations and musical influences in their sounds. So it's always refreshing to hear! Lyrically, I'm sure you read them, but Monster depicts an abusive relationship haha so ummm yeah there's that, I guess.

I don't know if anyone answered your questions but i'll try... You know the red force so... It made clones of the members when they first debuted and there are 9 exo & 9 x-exo members now. You can see in obsession mv that they're fighting with their own clones (exo in black clothes, x-exo in the colorful mad style) even though that mv has only 6 members in it since 2 members were in military and one is climbing on top in his country, china :D and because they are from exo planet, they have different powers. They also give spoilers and shots with VCRs at concerts about what's going on in details but not in general so we try to figure it out... Idk what to say more but yeah, that is that. By the way you're watching the videos so carefully not to miss anything so i really liked and appreciate this side of you... and also i'm new here but wont be going anywhere :') huh... okay then...

NCT and EXO are both SM Entertainment groups. Although NCT are amazing dancers and performers, EXO are their seniors who debuted 4 to 8 years before the members of NCT, so all the NCT members look up to the EXO members and highly respect them. There is no competition. NCT are EXO's little brothers. They both have their own concept and sounds and are equally talented. All of SM's groups are designed to be different from each other, it wouldn't make sense if all of SM's artists were carbon copies of each other. Each group is meant to fill a different niche and market within SM's portfolio of artists. EXO was originally designed to focus on the Asian market -- Korea, China and Japan.Where NCT is designed to capture the international market with groups and members who are supposed to help SM capture a share of the music industry in every country in the world. Although they have different purposes, as SM artists, you will see some similarities because each Kpop company has their own style. For instance, there are distinct differences between SM's style compared to JYP Entertainment's style or YG Entertainment's style. Each company focuses on different things and emphasizes different styles of singing and dance when it comes to training their artists. SM Entertainment is known for having some of the best dancers and singers in the industry. That is just a fact about the type of people it selects to be a part of the company. You can't be an SM artist without having amazing singing and dance skills. So even the company's rappers are unbelievable singers and dancers. All of SM's rappers were first chosen to become trainees for their vocal and/or dance skills. It wasn't until after joining the company that they learned to rap. So that is why SM's artists are known as some of the best vocalists and dancers in the industry -- being great rappers is just a bonus. SM is known for cultivating some of the best singers and dancers in Kpop. That is why it has gained the reputation as the vocal powerhouse of the industry. When it comes to SM this is just the skill level we have come to expect. And EXO is the perfect example of this. EXO's rappers could fill in as a main vocalist and their vocalists are fairly decent rappers. EXO has some of the industry's best vocalists -- D.O. Baekhyun and Chen -- but all of the members are phenomenal singers. And the group is known for their dance skills as well. However, if you are comparing Kai -- EXO's main dancer -- as a dancer and NCT's dancers, there is no comparison. Kai is hands down one of the top 2 BEST dancers in the entire industry and any Idol will tell you that they idolize him and strive to be as good as him. There is almost no one that is on the same level as Kai. Taemin from SHINee is the only other dancer that really can compete with Kai's skill level and overall talent. That is why Kai and Taemin are considered the best of the best. They are Idols' Idos and legends of legends. And that's not just a fan's opinion, but it's a title that has been given to both Kai and Taemin by their peers and the industry as a whole. All of the NCT members idolize them. Fun fact: SHINee is also an SM group. Taemin is Kai's best friend since trainee days and they are both members of SuperM. Kai and Taemin are around the same age -- Kai is a year younger than Taemin -- however, SHINee debuted 4 years before EXO, so Taemin is considered Kai's senior. Taemin debuted with SHINee in 2008 at the age of 14 and started his solo career in 2014. That just goes to show you the type of talent that SM has and what it has become known for.
