Scanning the frequencies of the universe I got the SIGNALS. Looking up at the starry night sky I see a star, dim at first, but growing rapidly in brightness. THEY'RE HERE, I whisper to myself. The 3 people who disliked this video wither at the POISON of their own influences. There on a large spiraling hill, an alien ship has landed. I take a NIGHTDRIVE to the street in front of the base of the hill; just another car to them. More silent than the quietest specter I ascend the hill. Hiding in the bushes I see them. 4 Standing around in different directions interacting with the wildlife, taking samples, and probably other things I don't know about. No open entrance to their ship, dark like space, a little larger than a RV and circular. I have learned my lesson since our last encounter, hanging around will not get me what I want. One plants a stone monolith in the dead center of the hilltop. _He's mine_. They will not escape me this time. The bush I was in explodes with an inhuman ferocity by the force of my departure, the world turning to a blur, and then snapping into focus, in slow motion I can see it all: my hand reaching for the closest one's grey skin, its eyes wide with surprise, the rest slowly turning around, stirred by the sudden movement. _Nothing can save you now_ But something _does_ the moment my hand makes contact with him, his warm skin disappears in a blur of dull blue, barely perceptible in the visual spectrum even in this darkness. I tumble forward propelled by my own movement. I grab the dirt and dig my own foot into the ground it grinding against the dry dirt and rock. *Teleportation?* I had underestimated them. Their ship was already lifting off the ground when I came to a full stop. I _had_ to catch that ship. I ran back and jumped as hard as my frail frame would allow, about a pathetic 40 feet or so in an ascending arc. Again, my hand would miss, but this time by a larger margin, about 3 feet or so. Newton had already planned my fall, the other arc, starting from a point below the focus of the parabola that was my leap. The gusts below the craft had been larger than I had expected, I was off balance, spinning and gaining speed rapidly downwards. My internal gyroscope spins wildly. _Mathematics_, oh, the fools who decried you. Differential equations occupy my mindspace, _tilt, rotation, force, vectors, planes, geometry, matrices, derivatives, infinitesimals, integrals, curves_. It all almost brings a tear to my eyes. My hands move through the world of equations like a musician and her instrument. Arriving at a solution, I implement it, a little tug here, a little push there... Order and stability are restored to my universe. The gyroscope is pleased and whirs with minimal movement. I slam into the ground feet first and roll with my previous momentum. I look up and they are far above me now, escaping to the outer reaches of the atmosphere. Probably terrified at what they saw. Hell, if something came after me like that, I'd probably be terrified too. I can't let them leave without me. They've seen me now, they know about me. I must catch them _now_. I throw off my pitch black cloak, it kept me hidden previously, but now it was time to scream and let my presence be known. My backpack shines defiantly against the night sky reflecting the starlight of distant suns against it's near mirror quality finish. The electric signals from my brain travel to the controller where they split into commands and directives. The controller, in turn, turns my will into reality breathing life into 2 nuclear fusion reactors on my back. Deuterium and tritium compressed into a tight space hate each other at first, but, the controller is relentless and smashes them so hard they become friends. They both release their previous frustrations upon the world. The wrath of two stars is unleashed upon the world; a binary star system is formed on Earth, their ferocity will not be forgotten. In the first few microseconds the brightness of the surrounding area increases an order of magnitude, and then another, and then another, _and then another_. Done with reflecting the light of distant suns, they now emit their own, screaming in defiance at the vast darkness of the night sky, just like their brothers and sisters in space. The initial blast destroys the hilltop, shredding leaves and trees, and a few seconds later, the roofs and windows of the nearby town a few hundred yards away. The violence is unimaginable. The _Saturn V_ has nothing on _me_. I rise through the air, a craft capable of interplanetary exploration in my own right. My hair flies wildly pulling G's that would break the bones of every human and some rockets too. I feel as though I'm compressing in the direction of motion, the wind speeds are increadable. The sound barrier is a distant memory, there is _no turning back now_. The atmosphere is getting thin, and I don't have a helmet. My speed is far higher than their ship, I have to be careful not to fly right past them, which I easily could at the insane speed I'm going at. I carefully slow down easing the controller slightly out of its blaze of glory. Their ship approaches rapidly flying at me in a flash, and at first I wonder if I had made a mistake and miscalculated and I was about to crash into it far too fast, but as planned I slam into it at 100 MPH, my high carbon steel talons grabbing deeply into the material. The fusion reactors slow to a mild cough, then re light as I launch off of the ship again, circling around it until I find something that looks like it could be an opening, perhaps in case their teleportation doesn't work. I'm not sure if this actually is an opening, but if it is, then I can use it to get in. As I get closer, the unmistakable appearance of a door manifests itself. How much more advanced are they, and yet even here, something as primitive as a door is on their ship. I smile, grabbing the handle and pulling back with all my might; no effect. Laughing, with no sound in the almost non existent atmosphere of the exosphere, I summon the barely tapped energies of the twin fusion reactors, although I would use almost none of their potential here. Electricity flows through my body like a tidal wave a million miles high moving at speed of light and generates magnetic fields in my fingers capable of tearing world apart. Sol's interstellar magnetic field changes slightly around me washing over my powerful magnetic field, curious. The waves of magnetism wash over me, attracting me at some times, repelling me at others with the sinusoidal waveform. The feeling of it all is _beyond_ orgasmic. In my carelessness I grab the handle and crush it out of existence. I didn't need it anyway. I stab my hands into the hull next to the handle, and puncture it up to my wrist. Atmosphere flies out into the void and I see one of them for a fraction of a second before the inner door shuts Chemical analysis reveals the atmosphere to be mostly pure nitrogen and chlorine gas in a 80/20 ratio. I guess they breathe pure chlorine, since nitrogen is mostly chemically inert. The airlock in in vacuum, I can't breach the inner door, or else its occupants will die. I grab the piece of metal that fell and another piece of metal on the floor and run an electric current from my finger pointing at the metal to my hand holding it. Who says that an electric current needs an _atmosphere_ to propagate? The metal welds together alright, and to be certain, I weld another piece to it. Then I open the inner door a but more nicely than the first. It's pitch black darkness inside, but I can see in infrared and ultraviolet. I'm not blind like the people below the ship. The beauty of the electromagnetic spectrum is open to me. I see their eyes twinkle from the cockpit on the left. Then the same blue glow envelopes then and they're gone. _What?_ Where did they go? The ship abruptly changes course banking towards the planet and accelerating at maximum speed. I'm thrown back by the sudden force smashing into the wall. White hot anger fills me. "DON'T FUCK WITH ME!" I scream in the strange atmosphere. Summoning plasma blades too blinding to look at even in the ultraviolet wavelengths I cleave the entire ship into 1/4's slashing in an X pattern in front of me. The entire ship floats away from me leaving me staring at the Earth rushing up to swallow me whole. All the atmosphere is gone now except the chlorine stubbornly bonded to me. An electric current makes them scurry off in all directions. Plotting the ships previous course I conclude that they were heading to another ship. Fusion engines flaring to life, I resume the original course. Time for a SPACEWALK. The main ship is running away fast, but it's too slow. I catch up easily. There's _nowhere to run now_. I reach a huge airlock. Which opens at my approach, much to my surprise. The atmosphere floods in and the inner airlock opens. Awaiting me is an entire welcoming party. They hold unfamiliar weapons and are wearing battle armor. They're NOT OF THIS WORLD. They're not the same people in the first ship, they're ready to do combat. They're confident. I would be too if I was possessing god only knows how much more advanced technology. I had gotten here by careful planning. I'm not human either, no human could have made it this far. I'm equal parts Attila the Hun and Carl Sagan. Ready to do combat if I must, but preferring to avoid it. I've _come this far_ If I fight them I _know_ I'll lose, and it's not my intent to harm or kill anyway. Unlike them, who tried to throw me back into my planet. But I believe in them, they survived their brush with thermonuclear weapons, they had to to make it this far. They're a peaceful people, or else they'd have committed planetary suicide in a nuclear war. I _come in peace_. I'm sorry I had to do all that to catch you, but I wish to accompany you to your world and meet your people. TAKE ME THERE.Send Barton Treasure

I have literally listened to every DWTD album there is, including the "B-Sides Volume 1" album, I can't compare any of them to this one, euphoric-induced adrenaline is pumping through me veins and I'll be running all night. I'm so glad that I had the pleasure of introducing myself to this genre. DWTD, you have sent the signal, and we, the survivors of mainstream dystopia have heard the calling, and we're on our way!

They're Here is perfect for a video game about aliens seeking to destroy Earth and all human beings. 0:00 - 1:14 - The story of their alien race and their planetary destruction of several other planets unfolds with spectacular storyboards for the game introduction. 1:15 - 1:44 - Aliens approaching planet Earth preparing for it's destruction. 1:45 - 2:15 - Humanity's last hope arrives for saving the planet before the destruction ensues. 2:16 - 2:38 - They're Here Anyone agree this would actually work?
