My dad died back in december 2016 and cremated him 5 days before christmas this song still makes me cry nearly 5 years on.

Im just singing this song before in normal way. But when dad died last 2020 im crying this with a crack voice. Those memories we had with him was flashing back with a painful feeling in it. I really miss him a lot. I wish i could see him again even in my dreams.

habang kinakanta ko to diko maiwasang mapaluha.. naaalala ko yung mga araw na nasa tabi pa namin si papa... pero nagbago lahat ng yun nung iniwan niya kami... nagsisisi ako sana ako nalang hindi si papa... damang dama ko ang kantang ito mahirap ng mawalan ng isang ama , amang naghihingalo sa hospital dahil sa sakit na biglaan.. diko mapigilang umiyak dahil dito naaalala ko si papa

Last 2019 we spent our Christmas in the hospital, and my father died 3 days after Christmas. This song really speaks for me. It's almost 3 years since he was gone, but it feels like yesterday. 🥺 Since then, we were never complete celebrating Christmas.
