Makes me happy to see young people dance. I’m 76 and I can remember these times

Love it! Back in the way long ago, dancing was a big part of our lives. On Saturdays, when my sisters and I were cleaning the house, we'd put on a record, all meet in the living room to dance with Mom, then go back to chores. We danced at sleepovers, school dances, we'd dance outside at parties, and when we were older, we'd go dancing every weekend with our beaus. I'm disabled now, and can't dance with my hubby any more, but I want to tell everyone to dance with the one you love as often as you can, whether you think you are a good dancer or not. It will give you some really warm and special memories to hold onto.

I LOVE a man who can dance and enjoys doing it. I’m smiling the whole time.

It's rare to find a man that likes to dance. He's a keeper and you will both stay thin.

He's a good dancer; but she is a _born_ dancer - such a natural, unforced control of every joyous gesture. People like this instinctively know exactly how their movement _looks,_ without needing mirrors all the time.

When, I was 7-years old, I could do the twist and the nitty gritty. Over 50 years ago, still would like to study it again. This is when bands would still play at Junior High school.

You know what I love about this video besides their dancing? Their smiles while they’re dancing. Because it made me smile 😊

My Uncle told me when I was a young man stay skinny and learn how to dance and you will always have beautiful women in your life. I never learn how to dance and never stayed skinny some how, I married a beautiful woman and how she could dance too any kind of music. She has her wings now and I will always love her.

I’m smiling the whole time I watch you both dance. Such great rhythm and movement.

Gosh. You both put a massive smile on my face when I watch you. It is so neat to watch a male dancer who is so in tune with himself. So masculine, so male, so everything a woman wants her man to be on the dance floor. Thank you both for such an awesome recording.

It is nice for me to see younger people enjoying this music. It will never die.

The couple dancing weren't even twinkles in their daddy's eyes when this ditty came out. 💕 Perfect synch, children! Bravo. 😘👍

Loved that dance. Soooooo relaxed. Both very light on their feet. At 73 I know that song very well and it's now stuck in my head for the rest of the day. Oh well, It could be worse, I suppose.

This is Great! You two are good together & itbrought back many good memories of my oldest sister and husband, before they were married they would win so many Twist contests that they were asked not to compete. Oh the moves they had ! I'm 68 now & I guess it goes back to oh.... 1962-67 and beyond. Thanks you two!

Always loved that song, and it's really nice to see couples dance together.

A man who can dance and enjoys to dance is a wonderful thing. My ex-husband took country dance lessons with me but he really didn't enjoy it. 😔 I love dancing and was hoping we could bond over dancing but it didn't happen. I was attractive and fun to be with, but sadly we only lasted 13 years. I ended up with depression and he with anxiety. But he did give me a beautiful child that was conceived in love. Men who can dance have an advantage. I'm not saying men who can't dance are not worthy. I'm just saying men who can dance have an advantage.

You two are just too cute. I smile through the entire videos of you both dancing. Thank you!

This just brought me some awesome and much needed happy tears. Recently lost my dad very suddenly and he introduced my sister and I to so much good music growing up. We all use to swing dance in his living room to Glen Miller and other big bands of that era. He really loved this song in particular. It's so nice to see ppl having fun doing what makes them happy, thank you for sharing🌞👐♥️
