Dance queen Tursunay Ibrahimjan

Ойын-сауық

A sweet and lovelable instrument work with classical dance by Dance queen Tursunay Ibrahimjan . . someone ask me not to talk about "Koja Kanri" which is written on title of video. I Think this performance is quite excellent. i would appreciate if my afghan/ Tajik friend could load dai dance which he believed to be similar

This is one of the most stunning, most exotic music I've ever heard in my life, it speaks to my soul (could it be because I was born in Azarbayjan?). Thank you so much for posting this & enabling us to connect with our glorious past.

Nice outfit! She's pretty, so are the instrumentalists. I love central Asain dances because they have both Persian and Turkish elements in them. Very nice!

Even me Bosnian learned a lot via you tube about Uyghuristan and their music. So I recognised right away the music from the song Mirajihan..my favorite of Uyghur music. I wish the best to the great people of Uyghuristan/East Turkestan.

Absolutely beautiful Uyghur dance performance! I love dances from Tursunay, she is so graceful! Love you Tursunay! Suggestion to viewers: Please DO NOT force your political views on thers here, it is not-sense, just post comments related to the video. Some of you just try to post bullshit, if you know for sure, say it. If you do not know good enough, ask and learn. This is such a beautiful video, but some comments here are disgusting. Enjoy the music and share your ideas on the music.

My wife is a professionals Uzbek dancer. She had 6 years of Tashkent State Dance College. and i think Uzbek dance is one of the most diverse. But this is Uygur which is also good.

Kucha was also called Kusan which is the capital of Kusan Uyghur kingdom. The name Kucha comes from the word Kuch which means Power,Powerful in Uyghur language. Kusan comes from the word Kisin which means also Powerful in ancient Uyghur language. You may know that India is the holy place of Buddhism in ancient times, you should know that Kucha was another world's holy place of Buddhism in ancients times, those amazing relics could be the proof for that.

That Uyghur musical instrument was called Qushtar. In Uyghur language Qush=Bird, Tar=String. A shape of nightingale is carved on it's handle, that's why it called like that. Now we Uyghurs call it Hushtar, Hush= Pleasing .....actually this is the changing of the pronounciation. About the dancer Tursunay Ibrahim, you can read the description of my video, she is a great dancer!!

So the name Kucha(Kusan) has the history of more than 1000 years. The title is not Kocha qizi(street girl) nor Koja kenri, you may have difficulty in reading Uyghur language. In your another video Turkic mastana, you thought that it's Turkmen dance, actually not! It's also Uyghur dance! Again thanks for posting these Uyghur videos, but you should give the right description.

I would have to disagree with you there my brother, Islam was first introduced by the Arabs themselves , and then when the Pashtuns of Afghanistan settled India they introduced Islam to the native inhabitants of India and then by the Sufi saints. The Turks were the ones who conquered India , they were called the Mughals.
