Sofia is now in Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, where she's got a scholarship. She's safe beyond the Great Water, yes, but her family stays in Ukraine. The lovely square where the MV was recorded lies in the historic city of Chernihv in northern Ukraine. The buildings we can see around don't exist anymore - they were completely damaged by Russian missiles in March 2022. I'm not sure if they have been rebuilt.

I was waiting for more jodel in this song, it would have been incredible.

Once again I am very impressed. Sofia's cover performances are even better than the original artist.

No need for such a great concern, I believe. She's not an abandoned busker: she has a family and Mum keeps an eye on her career. Couldn't you consider joining her Patreon, Mike (link within VD)? As a professional you could provide with a more valuable input than just a financial assistance. We're mostly laymen there, only one musician. :)

@@MrJgohde depuis les débuts de Sofia j'ai la soutenue, comme j'ai la conseillè de prendre soin de ces études et de sa maman et de s'éloigne de l'arrogance. Vous pouvez revenir à mes commentaires précédentes. J'ai vous es dit que Sofia est ma belle futur star. Mais dommage. L'innocence de Sofia s'éteindre avec sa jeunesse. Sa me fait mal au coeur.
