The Leo/Frog Leap rabbit hole is definitely one worth falling down and getting lost in. I grew up with most of the original songs he covers, and in most cases I like his versions even better. Dude is stunningly talented.

Leo Moracchioli is a Norwegian metal musician and producer based in Oltedal. He is a multi-instrumentalist, and is known for his metal covers of popular songs, which have gained him over 4.5 million followers on KZread such as Frog Leap Studios.

Out of all the songs from Frog Leap Studios, I honestly think this one is my favorite. Leo and Hannah harmonize so well together in the song. As you and others have said, I think what impresses me most is how Leo is able to switch a song's genre without fundamentally changing the song. Every cover song is still completely recognizable as the original and that always blows my mind.

Leo is one of my absolute favorite artists. The man is a freaking genius and has more talent in one finger than all the musicians I have ever met lol. Love seeing reactions of his music.

Leo used to be lead vocalist for Norwegian metal bands Zerozonic and LowDown. There are some videos on his playlist on the Frog Leap KZread channel. Also some Trendkill. A Pantera cover band he used to play with. He also has a video from a Metal Cruise where he played with people from POD, Korn and others.

Leo has learned lyrics in Korean and several other languages for his covers. The most impressive thing for me is how close he can keep to the original song while still making it completely his.

Leo is amazingly talented. His covers of uptown funk, chandelier, africa, and the dire straights one are amazing

Leo has 6 or 7 hundred videos done over the years. I have barly scratched the surface. He does a couple Dire Straights tunes. Sultans of Swing is especially awsome.

Welcome to the Leo Memorial Insane Asylum hehehehe He's a master of his craft and just sheer genius.. Gotta love how much fun he puts into his videos as well as the music.. A few to check out that give you a good show of how anything he puts his mind to can become a metal masterpiece.. "Take Me Home, Country Roads", "Holding Out for a Hero", and "Moves Like Jagger".. Everything he does is gold, but those are a few that really put the screws to the originals without killing the originals in the process (unlike a number of other covers do), in fact they are even better than the originals to my mind (like most of his covers), but that's just personal opinion ;) .. If you liked this cover you should listen to his covers of listen to your Heart and sultan of swing. Both those songs are as good if not better then the originals. My opinion I know but still so so so good.

Leo actually did a cover of Baby Shark Dance and at the end of the video he runs around outside in his yard wearing a shark suit and promoting his social media links and it is the greatest thing that Leo has ever done or ever will do. Also since you're familiar with the Dance Monkey original there is an artist name Peter Bence that does insane piano covers of modern songs and the piano playing on his cover of Dance Monkey is every bit as ridiculous as the guitar playing in any of Leo's covers.
