Jon Mess' scream has evolved so much over the course of the band.

Pumped you are doing this! Really enjoyed this one! It’s an underrated gem that paved the way for swancore and progressive post hardcore! Especially RnB vocals in prog rock/post hardcore.

Jonny Craig songs re-recorded, but with Andrew Wells on vocals. This is the move. Tilian doesn't do the Craig era songs justice.

No one can do Jonny Craig justice.. Jonny is on a level of his own

@@MuziMuziMuziMoo having heard Andrew do it already, I respectfully disagree.

@@Tonye80085 don’t get me wrong, Andrew is a masterpiece but not as good as Jonny. Both chef kisses though. Jonny’s voice is so angelic but at the same time rough and it works so well

I can't wait to watch this series, I love their entire discography and so I'm excited to see how someone else views it. I definitely suggest not skipping over their singles and cover songs.

An album that gets better as it goes on. Maybe a bit too compacted and jarring in the first couple of tracks, but then it "clicks" and fits together so well as each song plays out. Imagine hearing this for the first time in 2006. Shit was WAY unconventional. 👌

17:57 it is Jon Mess with long ass hair lol and Johnny is so fucked up in that video but right after the point that you paused it he sings the chorus while laying there on the floor and it sounds soooo fucking good… i always thought that video was very interesting and beautiful but also a little sad at the same time.

@14:45 it was kind of the opposite for me. the 2 big local bands at the time were DGD and A Skylit Drive, and it was the ASD folks that I was turned off by. The DGD'rs were my people.
