Agreed, Kurt sounded amazing. I've gotta disagree about Jonny, though. I've seen him several times, and he sucked ass on a few of them. Granted, he was clearly fucked up on those nights. I'm glad he got clean. I hope he still is.

Gotta go back and watch this now that Tillian and DGD have parted ways too

Even though Jon Mess screams for like 10 seconds in this song it gives me chills everytime. Luckily, he's one of those vocalist that has gotten better over time and thank God for that because almost everything they have put out is pure gold not matter who is singing.

Chance Simmons they are the principle members, Mingus and swan have never left and Jon only took a single album off in 2009. I see tilian as a principle member now to, he’s held the band down since 2013 and they’ve had little change besides rhythm guitarist since then. Jon leaving for an album did lead to some cool stuff for the band, will swan and Kurt Travis actually both took switching unclean vocal roles

Btw, they did this the whole tour.

This takes me back to a podcast I listened to recently called Lead Singer Syndrome. The podcaster interviewed all 3 of these guys and they were pretty much class acts when it came down to talking about one another. They were honest but had no ill will toward each other even through the interviewer was really laying it on thick. I love how they did this tour together and seemingly did it for the fans of all the different DGD eras.

I love all three of them, but damn, Jonny slays.

Fuck, I wish I could have gone to this show.

To those who say they can't hear tilian it's cause he sings in a completely different key than the other two and it's way deeper than his normal belting voice so he's staying in his chest which is way harder to project from until the "bridge" (I guess that's what it is) when he goes a full octave higher than the original

They need to make Downtown Battle Mountain III with all 3 vocalists. Either that, or re-record older songs with Tilian and newer songs with Johnny and Kurt.

This was probably the best thing that has happened all year, great way to end it for sure. A healthy Kurt Travis voice, as well as a Jonny Craig. Can't forget about the man Tillian hitting the highs.

100%. That’s the beauty of DGD. The core group stuck together and adapted to every singer rather than letting the singer be the be all end all. I love all three of the vocalists. It’s apples to oranges to bananas...can’t compare!
