LYRICS
Eyes down don't you gaze on others
Pay no mind to hopeful lovers
Promise to be faithful when you go go go go
Don't be alarmed to discover
Siren's songs can pull you under
Promise to be faithful when you go go go go
On the seas of mass temptation
Keep your course of moderation
Promise to be faithful when you go go go go
And if you prove a lying coward
Feel the wrath of higher powers
Promise to be faithful when you go go go go
Fade
Writhe, crash, peel
I'm feelin it, the feel of it, the wheel can turn, the wick is lit
I feel like something before I feel like nothing
Crawling through the clouds that morph into mouths
Agree to be swallowed, ignore being hollowed out
Facilitate the power trip
I like to watch you deal with it
Savor ever little bit
Of knowledge you obtain
Don't you hurt me again
Pride feed me pride I'm feending
My mind and my body won't be able to take the pain
You can never ever diss this dick
You can barely even write this shit
I'd rather you were dead
More, give it more conejo
Than lying cheating draining my patience away
Feed it pieces
Make it sleepy
Eyes down don't you gaze on others
Pay no mind to vicious lovers
When you go
I think you're perfect, I'm worth it
Yeah, I deserve to be a servant
Act so blind to rediscover
Sirens songs can pull you under
When you go
I think you're perfect, I'm worth it
Yeah, I deserve to be a servant
Say I'm worth it
I'm your person
So well versed in
I'll immerse in you
Filled with regret
Alone, in the end
Barely a man
I ran from every decision
Not about to justify don't sympathize with my meltdown
I don't need a friend I'd rather keep it all to myself now
'Cause it's hard enough to follow up the fees of my self doubt
I had it all in the palm of my hand
Don't have the time to start over again
I had it all in the palm of my hand
Ran out of time now it's over again
Dive through the heart of a demon
Shine a light on my kingdom portrait
Fly straight over the pieces of you
Suck sludge straight through the straw I need you
Fade
Fade into the grave

@@SuperGameEskimo Yes, the live performance audio from those takes were definitely not used for the video, it is quite evident. Also I commented my previous comment way before I read that the audio itself was recorded in their live session in Pus Cavern Recording Studios. However without that information it could have been entirely plausible that they played like 5-10 live takes on the bridge and used the best audio takes for the mix and the visually best ones for the video which could end up having some of the video takes "look wrong" as is evident in Jon's screams. But yeah, my bad, the whole thing was recorded in Pus Cavern Recording Studios and this was just a video to promo that so nevermind. :)

@@achilleuspetreas3828 Bruh no what are you talking about. Besides Tilian’s wireless mic he literally always uses, everyone is plugged in. Also think about it why would they go through the trouble of micing up all of the drums , plugging into their pedalboards, wearing in ear monitors, having tons of road cases, etc etc. just to record all of this in a studio and pretend it’s live? The amps and main boards are just out of frame. Also there’s literally no way they could sync all of that up to make it look real, it would have taken hours of shooting alone. Even music videos aren’t synced up that well most of the time. There was just really good mixing, pre and post production on this. And I imagine they had a legit ass set up, maybe had to do a few of the songs more than once to get some good shots and mixed them up a bit. There are recordings of shows with huge bands at big ass loud venues from 20 years ago btw that are mixed well enough to where it sounds close to studio quality.

@@Radical_edweird I was looking for a comment like this. This performance is HEAVILY post-produced and I'm not saying its bad either! But the guy above you is partially correct lol. There are tiny inconsistencies with the video with how some of the words/lyrics are pronounced, certain guitar parts having little to no feedback or drag, etc. This is by NO MEANS saying that these dudes aren't INCREDIBLY talented and some of the best at what they do. Seen them play this exact song live and it had me floored. But no ,unfortunately, THIS version is not a raw, live track. It def not recorded in studio and I agree they recorded it live, but that recording was then taken and sent through all kinds of filters and had certain things removed in order to clean it up. Still a bad ass track though.
