One of the best, and my favorite from the Kurt Travis era

Chino's voice is like the ocean air at night, standing over the cliffs, the sky melting into the black sea. Stars in the sky echo the lights of distant boats. The breeze is so fresh and cool. Makes you feel fucking alive.

Turning 28 this year, still my favorite band today (well old school DGD) Their sound is so unique, I always felt it was perfect harmony of angelic & demonic sound waves.

Deftones is my favourite band ever and I've just recently discovered DGD. Life ain't so bad sometimes.

I love that Chino likes this kind of music. This song has a deftones feel to it which i believe they did on purpose since chino would be present on this song. Overall, great album.

This song has zero Deftones feel at all. I've been listening to Deftones since their Like Linus EP. The only thing Deftones related to this song is Chino. There is not a single note in the entire song that resembles anything Deftones has ever done. No clue how 17 people liked your comment. Not saying this is a bad song, but it has no resemblance to anything related to Deftones at all.

I think the darker tone of this song is the only thing I would liken to Deftones, which Chino is suited to singing. The instrumentation is completely different to Deftones though.

Jeremy Kaminski your telling me that those reverb saturated leads and big extended chords in the chorus are not Deftones? I don’t know if you’ve heard the Deftones album Saturday night wrists but that chorus sounds like something that could’ve come right off that album. There’s a reason they got him for that part of the song

I just realized that the name of the singer is Chino Moreno. The translation from spanish to english, literally means "brown chinese". Am i the only one who noticed this?

Si, the Deftones are among the greatest, regardless of classification. No other band can pull from the ends of a spectrum together into one harmonious and beautiful soundscape.

i love how the whole song just flows so smoothly yet so harshly, the duality between the vocals is just perfect.

Why don't you just let me live my life? I've given you more of my self It's hard to get that back.... exactly how i feel right now.

I've been listening to this song an average of 6 times a day in the past few weeks. I think it's my love for Deftones too, since Chino is so deeply ingrained in this song. He belongs here. It's like a marriage of Deftones and DGD, which we need a ton more of, for fuck's sake! Amazing song.

So I'm at work and just let the DGD (Kurt Travis) play list run it's course, I had to stop what I'm doing and had to look at what's playing because God Damn this song is just changed my life in a good way. Also surprised that they had Chino on this track, that's explains that relaxing yet exciting vocals.

Will always be my fav DGD song, Chino and Kurt nailed it.

Still remains one of my absolute favourite DGD songs. The combo with Chino is just epic
