Комедия

This guy was at an arcade at a theme park we were at and he's insane. Its amazing how fast his feet move and how he was getting every step and it was perfect. Not to mention how he was super-stylin' it too.he even had a towel to wipe his sweat and shoes(lol) and water.this guy is serious about this!

DDR was already on the way out when this video was shot :( arcades had been dying for years and online gaming was finishing it off. I'll never forget when Guitar Hero got big and people stopped playing DDR. I know other stuff was happening, but it felt like the switch from DDR to GH happened at the exact moment people started spending more time online than they did in real life. People just sat at home playing GH and putting it up on early KZread. This was around 2008. The recession closed a bunch of arcades and other places that had DDR. Gas was $3.80 a gallon so driving places was expensive. Easier to just sit inside and screw around online.

I was "that guy" 18 freakin years ago now @.@ Song is MAX300, which is infamous among players for being the first "strictly for veterans" song. So much so that it could only be accessed as a bonus song for exceptional play of your final songpick, unless the owner used a machine code to make it always available. Which in the case of casual arcades, was never the case. Oh, and as bonus song it had to be played with the arrows reversing downward, at a faster speed, invisible "arrow catchers", and the arrows vanish right before when you step them. If you missed just a few, it was over. Took me over a year just to pass the unlocked, normal ver with a C. Many a leg cramp those nights! Shoutout to all the DDR players, former and current :)

Lmao at the laser tag place I used to play most of my DDR at, the owner unlocked everything. All games were free if you bought a laser tag pass. So people would buy passes and not even play laser tag. They'd just take advantage of the unlimited DDR with the bonus tracks unlocked. Initial D, Mortal Kombat 3, and Soul Calibur were also free. Passes were $20 a night, and considering that other arcades could eat through $20 of tokens pretty quick, that was a good deal.

Check this out - true story = freeek event. In about 2001 - 2002 we had a company "fun day" at one of these arcade parks. Since our company rented the whole place for the afternoon everything was free: bumper boats, pinball, the shoot the bad guys games, and..... Dance Dance Revolution. So, I was like 50 years old, married, and had a kid at home so I was just staying "over there' playing this game where I was shooting bad guys. I had been playing it a long time and I was getting pretty good at saving the world when this young Woman I worked with comes up and says "Hey, you think you're good on that, I challenge you to Dance Dance" - apparently she was "The Queen of Dance Dance". I'm like "No that's ok" because she wasn't wearing much and you know, I just wanted to shoot a bunch of bad guys, cop a free lunch, and go home. But, now there's a couple dozen co-workers there taunting me, so I have to go dance dance (we had a little over 150 people there, more on that later). Pardon me if this sounds rude, but the music starts and we start competing and, ya, she's "bouncing" a lot. I'm trying to not look and man this is awkward. I beat her, actually I smoked her on the first challenge and the rest is a blurred memory. The music starts going faster and faster and she bouncin' all over like there's no tomorrow and not just on top, we're going so damn fast every part of her is bouncing. The entire company has gathered around because me, the old guy is totally blowing the Dance Dance Queen away, and I'm thinking all I want is for this to end. Now this s#*t's gotten out of control and she's yelling/taunting me so I HAVE to look at her, forcing myself to focus on her face or the Dance Dance screen thing. I'm freekin' dying inside, man, all I want is the free lunch and then go home and play with my kid and our beagle but nooo, I'm trapped in this crazy Caligula inspired insanity. Now everyone is chanting "MANIAC MANIAC" and I had the focus of Zen monk going between her taunting face and the screen thing because I have to, I mean geeez, she's a super attractive fit young Woman that's not wearing much = her body parts flyin' all over the place = and I was a happily married family guy that did puppets and stuff for the kids at church, ya know? - I mean, is this God or Satan tormenting me, or both, are both God & Satan both laughing it up at my expense???!!! Eventually....EVENTUALLY it all ends with me breaking the park record. Everyone is telling me I'm some kind of Dance Dance God, she's telling me I'm insane, and I'm think "no, I just want to eat and bolt, actually, screw the food, I just want to bolt". I really don't think I could just hop on one of those things and do it again, like I said, it was a freeeek event. - kinda like when the Grandmother picks up the car because the kids stuck under it, or something: I don't know. However, I am now legend in our company!!! ~Andrew
