Dana White On UFC Pay vs Boxing Pay: "Going-out-of-business sale." | CLUB SHAY SHAY

Dana White On UFC Pay vs Boxing Pay:
“Every event boxing put on is a going out of business sale. 'Let's grab as much money as we can from everybody.' ... Tell me a sport or any business ever in the history of the world that has probably made trillions of dollars in revenue and at the end of the day there's nothing there. That's boxing.”

Because Tyson Fury ducked the real boxing contenders so Ngannou was lucky because Tyson Fury was champion, if AJ or Usyk was the champion, they would never fight Ngannou, AJ fought Ngannou after Ngannou almost beat Fury and become a ranked contender, only Tyson Fury did that nonsense by fighting unranked Ngannou, same Tyson Fury fought Chisora 3rd time despite beating him 2 times before, Tyson Fury simply wanted the easy fights and disrespected other boxers.

There is no simple answer about this, look at Women Boxers going to WMMA, some of them get paid more in WMMA compared to in Women Boxing, but you don't see people talking about some Women Boxers not getting paid so they go to WMMA, boxing structure is different, top boxing guys take all the money, while other boxers and other women boxers who fight in prelims on the same card take less money than prelim UFC fighters take. UFC just doesn't pay the top UFC guys equally as top guys in boxing. But middle and lower level guys in UFC gets paid more than the middle or lower level boxers. Ronda Rousey probably won more money than many champion Women Boxers maybe more than even Claressa Shields.

My portfolio is rounding up to almost a million and I have realized that when a stock makes it to the news, chances are you're quite late to the party, the idea is to get in early on blue chips before it becomes public. Up untill that point they sunk like 20 million into it. You don't just get to come in years later at the high and say you are worth 500 million give me some.

This is why alot of MMA guys are going into boxing... The pay is MUCH better, even though MMA popularity is at an all time high... Dana pays more in advertising, all these other shows (slap match, ultimate fighter, etc) & his own endeavors instead of REALLY paying the athletes that are making him the money & they are taking all the risk. He really needs to pay the fighters what they really deserve. Then we can get fights like Jon Jones & Francis Ngannou

Only the top boxers make the biggest money, but UFC has a more standardized and consistent source of income for fighters. It offers a job. That's why you see top fighters from UFC try to leave because of the bigger bag at the top. Also, UFC is a sustained business that additional to financial compensation, offers the greatest platform on Earth for any fighter to build their personal brand. Most boxing events are exhibitions for only the top boxers to grab as much money as possible. TLDR; They are totally different and comparing them does not make sense.
