I loved your reactions to this amazing rendition of O Holy Night by Dan Vasc. I believe that his vocals added weight to the meaning of this song as he drove home to intensity of not just the birth of a special baby but of the King who came in power to set us free. It was very moving to me. Thanks so much. I do hope that you will continue to react to more of his music. One of my favorites is I'll Make a Man Out of You from the Disney Mulan movie. Not only is it a vocal delight, but it is also a whole lot of fun. And, his Bring Me to Life by Evanescence is out of this world good with all kind of incredible vocal techniques that will blow you away. Looking forward to coming back for more.

Brazil can be very proud of their world class phenomenon, Dan Vasc. He's the most versatile singer I know. As someone has mentioned, he doesn't only sing Metal. He absolutely "lives" the part in Jesus Christ Superstar and "Gethsemane" from the Phantom of the Opera, it's so impressive! Love how you guyz are enjoying Dans work. Apparently most Brazilians aren't supporting Dan because he sings mainly in English and doesn't put Portuguese sub titles. Dan says it doesn't make sense to do that as much more of the world understands English. He sings in Latin, Italian,German in parts of a coupla songs. He sings a Spanish song and has a song in Japanese😳🤪 Can't wait for more Dan reactions, thankyou😃

Love how his special talents are focused on the most important words in the hymn.. A 34 yr old singing his Christian beliefs loud and proud.. wish this was the version sung in Churches, would wake up the congregation at the back.. never thought I would be head banging to a hymn.. I'm in my 70's now lol

Thanks for doing more Dan Vasc! He's the best! I hope you guys dive deep into his catalog 'cause I'll be here for them! Not all Dans covers are metal or metalized. His non metal covers are awesome, too, and i hope you check them out as well. Dans show tunes/opera are unbelievably good, as are his 80s rock covers. For the metal growl, you should pay attention to the lyrics he sang it on; it will give you an idea of why he used that technique at that time as well as the falsetto and which lyrics it was used for. As for more requests of Dan's music? Depends upon what you like: he does many genres: 80's rock/metal, opera, folk, power metal, a few Christian hymns given a bit of an upgrade, etc... Some of my faves: Burn Butcher burn, Sound of the White Wolf (both from the Witcher franchise), Black Wind Fire & Steel, Battle Hymn, My Mother Told Me, Exceptional, Kiss From a Rose, Nessun Dorma, I'll Make a Man Out of You, Music of the Night (Phantom of the Opera), and many, many more...

Bring Me To Life, Sound of Silence and Patience with Violet Orlandi are more of my favorites besides the ones you mentioned!

Thanks for reacting to this! This is not my favorite of his Christmas covers (that's Angels We have Heard on High), but I love the passion and beauty of his voice, especially after he really kicks into gear. For another side of Dan, I highly recommend The Music of the Night and/or Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Superstar, both stunning little theatrical performances. You won't believe it's the same guy. He actually sings in many different genres, so don't expect a pattern in everything he sings. You'll often be surprised, but he'll never be disappointed. Thanks for continuing your journey with this amazing artist.

Must have watched this video by Dan 50 times since he dropped it but not for the last few weeks. Just watching it again now brought all the powerful emotion back as if I just heard it for the first time. Dan Vasc has the ability to reach deep into one's soul and pull things out we didn't know were there. It's a remarkable talent from a great performer and a very fine human being. That’s just a name somebody gave that sound it’s just another way to sing I don’t know why they called it death metal it just a style it’s called a growl this is O holy night why would you call it death metal makes no sence that’s blasphemy it’s just a style it s all it is it has nothing to do with death it dosent mean hate or evil it just shows him showing conviction
