Dan Vasc is the best singer. His voice range is so incredible.

He’s from Brazil and his band is called Fearless. He does a lot of metal covers of Disney songs. This one is from the Disney movie Mulan (pronounced Moo-lan). The guest singers are all other independent KZread singers.

Donnie Osmond was the singer/Voice Talent for the Disney Character that sang this in the Disney Animated movie Mulan. (Pronounced "Moo - Lawn") And Donnie has an excellent voice. I've always loved the Osmonds. Nothing mediocre about his singing. But he's not a metal artist. And though he does sound somewhat aggressive in the original recording, just because he's a man & a phenomenal singer - he doesn't sound as aggressive & intense as Dan Vasc. Dan takes it up a few notches, which might not be "Disney appropriate" & might be too much for some children. But he is phenomenal & talented, & really does change the timbre of the song while keeping the original essence of it. I really appreciate his take on it. The other people that flashed on screen are other KZread cover artists, singing the lines from the song in the movie. They are not the original artists who sang the song for the movie. The sing is about a Chinese military leader training untrained out of shape recruits to go to war against the invading Huns, & reflecting on what he's got to work with, & what his job is. Mulan is a woman disguised as a young man who nearly gets kicked out & sent home, because she can't keep up. But she finds a way to stay. Also - If you've never seen the original Karate Kid, you should. Pat Morita plays Mr. Miagi - Danial Laruso's (Ralph Macchio) Karate instructor, & mentor. And he voices the Emperor in Mulan. You really should check out the Disney Animated movie Mulan. Then come back & listen to this! This would be a great song/ rendition to work out too.

And one of the interviews that I heard him in, he talked about his preparation for a song. He warms up his voice the day before, sings this song and records it the next day, then, the following day he doesn’t talk he stays quiet. He really takes care of his voice, he also talks about how he takes care of his body. He says what you put in your body is what your voice will sound like, I mean, he really believes that so, I’m assuming that that’s part of his thing. But I know he’s an amazing singer, and I follow all these reactions now, because I love your reaction to his voice.

I think he said he doesn't talk the entire day the day _BEFORE_ he records.

Watch the American trilogy. He did this as a tribute to his dad. He is an absolutely phenomenal singer, but his emotions in that song touches all of us who have lost a parent. That’s what makes him in a league all his own

Yeah, his voice is addicting! I came for Amazing Grace and I've loved ALL his songs, but this is prob my 2nd fave!

Mulan is a Disney movie, not a band. The other artists in this song are not part of the original song, they are other KZread cover artists that were featured in the video as a collab. The original song wasn't metal, that's why it's a metal cover, not just a cover.

Dan Vasc has great posture for his singing. If you love this, and go listen to us other stuff, I’m not even gonna start naming them, but you need to go listen to his other stuff.

As others have noted, the song is from a Disney movie and is not originally metal. In context it’s a drill sergeant talking to his troops during boot camp.

This song is a cover that he does from the cartoon movie Mulan. The movie came out in 1998. Mulan is a girl from ancient China and when the Huns are attacking the country, she dresses up as a man with her father's armor and joins the military.
