i came across this song via kasia (thank you) and just knew i had to vid it to dan&serena...actually that's a lie, i wanted to do it to penn&blake but trying to make THAT many manips to fill a whole video...dang, so you guys got this instead.
i hope that scene at 0:47 looks like dan&serena jsjds it's not supposed to be dan&...the girl hilary duff played. i will forever be so bitter we didn't get to see that kiss in 3x21/22 like PLEASE..so y'all got that instead. sorry but 2:45 - 2:51 is one of my favourite things i've ever done jsjds "well maybe you shouldn't have took your lips off mine, put 'em on his and thought that you'd be fine" and serena kissing nate thinking she'd be okay without dan and then realising she wasn't jsjdsj MY HEART sorry not me fangirling over my own editing I'M SORRY. serena loves dan so much i'm fine i'm fine. 3:10 - 3:11 I HOPE YOU LIKE MY YOU MANIP gah one of the best things about you is new content / manips for my videos I'M NOT SORRY. it's so funny bc from the start of making this i decided not to include any manips then i get to the end and i'm like HEY WHY NOT? lmao and i kinda love them help manips make me feel things. and apologies the one right at the end of the video is kinda bad jsjds but I TRIED OKAY???

I don't think their relationship is toxic as they say. They were very confused and until the last moment they did not realize that they were still in love.I understand that there are people who like Serena and Nate, but I think that Nate's thing was a bit of an obsession, just like Dan's with Blair, I think they both idealized them. They say that Dan did not deserve Serena because he did not treat her well, yes, he was hard on her, but because he saw her as she was and even so he always felt something for her. He only needed to have another chance with Serena to finally forget about Blair and I think that if he didn't go back to Serena before, it was because he didn't want any of them to suffered (It's my opinion and not everyone may agree) PS: Your video is beautiful 💞

Thank you so much & it’s so interesting to hear your opinion. I agree with a lot of it too actually. I think your right Nate was kind of obsessed with Serena I guess and their relationship in my opinion was largely sexual, with Dan and Blair (Omg I can’t stand them but) Blair just never deserve Dan she treated him so badly I can’t even. Anyway, for me, obviously deep down it was always Dan for Serena and Serena for Dan, as you say it just took Dan a little longer to get there, I think Serena always knew. Every single season she chose him at the end of the day. Still have to pinch myself they got married - AND HAVE A BABY!!! 😭🙌🏼

I live for your Derena vids! 😍Your videos and my love for Derena are *the* reason I got interested in vidding, and so... without sounding too much like a fangirl - I was wondering if you could possibly make a tutorial-type video on your vidding-process? Stuff like, how you choose what song to go with which clips - do you cut certain parts of a song if you don't have enough clips for the entire length? My problem is that I have ideas/concepts galore, but I have zero clue when it comes to the execution. What I've been doing is, I take it lyric by lyric - so, I write down the first lyric, and below I try to write down as many scenes/bits I feel go with that lyric, and so on. This approach hasn't exactly been working for me, haha. It just feels like there are too many scenes to pick from, that no one scene comes to mind if that makes any sense. Have you ever had this issue, as well? If you have, how did you tackle it? All this is probably really vague, sorry... 😅 If a video is too much hassle, then a rundown of your process in the comments would be more than helpful, too :) Thanks!

yes, it’s a manip tho. it’s dan from an episode in season 3 looking at vanessa & serena from 1x07
