Amazing car just getting started on my 69 ghia I found on a flat bed, heading into a scrap yard. I put a stop to that.

Amazing work and Ghia! Have a collection of 60's bugs to restore. Prize is the 70 Karmann Ghia Vert. Purchased it completely rust free. Floorpans are rock solid. Was never driven by this woman in the rain,,and is a one owner car. Would love to have the same color as your car, and half the ability to make it that great of a car.. Congrats.

I had mine in '63, in Germany, solid black, top speed 88 mph, 36 mpg..sold it for more than I paid for it........... I miss it, but it wouldn't carry 3 kids and a wife. You had to accelerate ahead of time to pass the car in front of you, but it did handle perfectly, in and through traffic.... Wurtzburg to Frankfort faster than the Jag's could go...

Its a great Camera. I use manual focus. It can auto focus during recording but I wouldn't recommend it.

Way too narrow on the front end. These cars also are expected to corner and negotiate challanging road surfaces. Tough to do that with a front end that resembles a trycycle. Need some descent track width to be taken seriously in that regard and that would be something near stock width nothing smaller than 185mm tires, preferably wider. I kind of like the DKPII period. The suspension setups were more practical and widely applied. Wheel and tire combos were more performance oriented and thus more

That's way to narrowed, especially with the 4.5 fuchs. I would have only done a 3" narrow up front. Beautiful car though.
