    @@greatkingkahngaming5199 yeah, he took a few career gambles - his coach wasn't too keen on such fights apparently - but he must have got paid well for them I suppose. A fight like Turner, where he weathered a storm and his chin held up will be great for his confidence, the old Dan may be back now.

    Dan is such a likable, down to earth dude he makes it super easy root for him and be happy when things work oit for him like it did in this fight due to his grit and generally upbeat, honest decency; kinda like this generation's version if cowboy cerone

    People are fickle indeed. Also Makhachev fans (many of which are Khabib fans) get really weirdly obsessed about thinking their guy can do no wrong and harassing others. Idgaf about if he did or did not use IVs. Just enjoy the fighters while they're here.

    He has taken a lot of head trauma in his career. When I watch this sport I feel sorta uneasy about enjoying it. Ambivalent, is probably the correct word. Few people see the deterioration of these men after they're retired. Actually, listen to Gaethje or other current veteran fighters. The slurred, "punch drunk" speech is a common sign of brain injuries.

    I was kind of a fan like... on the outside.. before this fight. I thought Dan was cool and all but was just like, yeah hes cool. After this fight I was like, DAMN, he is a tough mother F'er. That was a cool fight to watch. Then finding out he basically fought him one handed like man... What a gladiator.
