This song reminds me when I was in foster care waiting for my dad everyday to come back to get me. They separated all five of us into different foster parents. He finally came back after two years. He was undocumented from Mexico so it wasn’t easy for him to get all five of us back but he did. I talked to God every night praying!

My husband abandoned me with no biblical grounds. He used to be on fire for Jesus but he’s fallen away. I’ve been in the secret place weeping for him. Last night in tears I asked him to just lay with me and “hold me “. First he cruelly said, “why?” He refused for a while and I guess in my desperation and tears he finally gave in and then got up after 30 mins of barely holding me and went back to the couch annoyed. I weeped myself to sleep. I could hardly get out of bed today. I got back in my secret place today and weeped.. prayed.. I literally said to Jesus, “I’m so weary, so weary from this fight” I finally received enough strength to get dressed and leave the house- As soon as I got in the car , this song was on. Never heard it before. Thank you Jesus as I know that was you

I can’t get enough of this song!!

This song has driven me to my knees in tears. I had a night with my three month old where he was struggling to breathe because of RSV. There was a moment where his little body went limp in my arms and he just looked so tired and scared. Long story short I rushed him to the hospital and stayed up with him just holding him and trying to comfort him while the staff were working on him. Every time I hear this song that image of this very smiley and happy baby (our third) looking at me with such fear and exhaustion just cripples me. My wife told me the love, attention, and concern I had for him in that moment is how our Heavenly Father feels towards us and I have not ever understood the love of God more than in that moment.

This song has been such an answer to family and friends these past 2 weeks. Lots of sickness and uncertainty of diagnosis. Was on radio when I had just prayed for my 88 year old mother 2:55 having health issues. For a friend with a daughter with 4th stage cancer, Son With sick wife , and friend in ER , This song has been a hug from the almighty for us all.

When I heard this song on the radio for the first time it was around the time that my Mum passed away in a nursing home-all alone one evening, after I had visited her that day ( not knowing it would be my last visit) However, this song reminded and reassured me that she wasn't alone , that Jesus was with her holding her tight as she passed.

She said that this is the theme song for the night when her 39 yr old only daughter took her own life.... but she had recently accepted Jesus and was baptized in the Holy Spirit. Drugs and alcohol...
