I don’t understand the whole wedding situation. Why do they need a fake wedding to do this? Why didn’t the Royal family just take 3 girls from the village, cut their hands, throw them down the cave, and call it a day? It’s not like the girls were in love with the Prince or had some deep emotional connection with him. They just met him a few hours before the wedding so this betrayal that the movie wanted us to feel did not work at all.

While I wouldn't rewatch this, I thought it was a decent average fantasy movie. I was initially worried it would beat you over the head with how the main character needs no man and all that. But it pretty much didn't. Millie's character just survived on her own merits. Sure it was predictable but entertaining enough for what it is. I also found the CGI to be pretty good by streaming blockbuster standards. Nothing as glaringly bad as "The Flash" for example.

You guys definitely should watch the Millie Bobby Brown amazing film Enola Holmes movie which is much better than Damsel. You guys rememberd Robin Wright was in the iconic classic film The Princess Bride which probably was a homage to her amazing role in that movie hints the reason why she agreed to do this.... I think the dragon come with them because she could help her people survive the next winter and they actually did show when Millie Bobby Brown character cutting her hair with a sword when she came back down to rescue her sister. You guys definitely wasn't paying attention because the dragon said she could smell their Royal Blood. At that ceremony Queen cuts her son and the girls hands to fuse the blood together to make it seem that they are related😂 lol.

I actually partially enjoyed the movie, but I was also bored halfway through the movie. I think they spent too much time on Elodie stuck in the caves. They should have developed the prince, he seemed to be remorseful and even tried explaining himself in the end. They should have explored his character more, his reasons for going along with the sacrifices and etc. There were honestly so many characters, but they did nothing with most of them. I also hate how they spoiled most of the movie in the trailer. They even showed the ending scene when she was walking with the dragon behind her after setting the castle on fire. Also, the dragons logic was stupid. Even if she was killing daughters from the different generations of the kings family, she would have still been killing innocent daughters. Also, I’m not sure how to feel about the ending, with the dragon going with Elodie to her kingdom, like what is stopping her from turning on you again? Nothing! The dragon is a killer, no matter how you try to spin the story. I empathize with her children getting murdered, but there is no excuse fot taking it out on innocent children, there is no justice in killing those that had nothing to do with her children’s deaths. The story itself was bit confusing. Why did the people have to stay in the dragon’s island? Why couldn’t they just share it with the dragon? They started a whole conflict for no reason. Overall, If I didn’t watch the trailer, I would have enjoyed the movie a lot more.

A 'simpler' time when fire-breathing statues, were a "red flag" - but, just one hiccup too many after that! Sorry, I love "gruff talking Dragons for they're always magnificently done...but, this would make me root for the Dragon! Dark fantasy not dark enough☺

'I don't know who that's for besides...Drake' 😂😂😂😂😂 They need to stop trying to make Millie sexy, I know she's a legal adult but her face still looks like a child.

they were not commoners. They were also royal but just from a poor kingdom. The store was the food stores for everyone in the kingdom. Also remember the people earlier leaving and floria questioning that but elodie saying there's nothing left there for them.

I actually liked that the stepmother wasn't the typical evil stepmother, but tbh Angela was too much of a queen to play a broke commoner lol they playing in her face. But low-key a cool version of the film of Angela and her daughters stuck in this ethical crisis is too much better than the movie lol agree that it was poorly written that none of the family had ANY suspicions about this damn kingdom lol

also I LOVE the invitation lol and the pitch for that inspired idea is too much better than the actual movie !

You guys are so funny - "Angela Bassett gets shanked...this dragon needed therapy". :D This movie had too many cheesy moments, it bordered on cringe. The Enola Holmes movies are better than this, fyi.
