I am not a steroline fan or stelena fan.. I didn't like cerolina in fast 4 S .. but I liked Elena... I stop liked Elena when she dumped Stefan... He never did anything to get dumped, choosing demon over Stefan was kinda selfish... Actually the only character I like in this series is Stefan Salvatore... ☺️

One of the few greatest speech Damon has portrayed and she "didn't" hear a thing. It was SO SWEET.

I think Delena are so special for many reasons but i think one of the main ones are that you watch Damon be so cold, unaffectionate and unloving towards almost every single person from the start of the show. Lets be honest, he could get anyone if he wanted too but from the get go, he's different with Elena. You see him change with Elena. He becomes a new person, presents a new persona and as an audience, you start to wonder and ponder what it is about her that he loves so much and it forces you to realise that it is so special. With Stefan, he's the nice guy to everyone, you almost feel as if he could find that kind of love with anyone because of who he is, but with Damon, you know that their love is one of a kind and with no one else but Elena. Their love defied the universe as the dopplegangers were always meant to be together but she fell in love with Damon, even before she became a vampire. Elena is herself around Damon and you can see that when she turns into a vampire and was still with Stefan, who was she calling for help? Who did she need and felt that he understood her? Damon. It was always Damon. People change, personalities change and Damon suited Elena's change that was inevitable. They changed each other for the better, she changed him, he changed her. They made each other better people in a strange way. Their love was real, it was as realistic as the it could be in a show full of vampires. It was special and it was one of a kind. Elena and Damon's relationship with always be my favourite couple on screen and off.

Cat Ram She's not dead, she's in a deep sleep and she's not going to wake up until Bonnie dies. She's coming back to the show for the series finale. So she's not dead for good.

I thought that too when I first watched The Vampire Diaries until I saw the last episode of season 8. I mean this scene was the first scene that actually made me UGLY CRY. I couldn't breathe and I couldn't stop sobbing for weeks every time I thought of it. But Stefan's death in the last episode made UGLY CRY that exact same way. That and Bonnie's Funeral, Liz Forbes's Funeral And When Everyone Was Saying Goodbye To Elena When She Fell Asleep. 🥺😭

And they say their relationship is based on lust. The fact that he came to say goodbye to her and that she was crying her eyes out is proof that they really do love each other.

***** Stefan was already getting comforted by Caroline. Sure Stefan is his brother but he's not his lover. If I had a choice between my girlfriend and my brother, i'd definitely pick my girlfriend because Damon spent half of his life with his brother and Stefan knows that Damon is happy while Elena knows nothing.

***** They just held hands, as a sign of friendship. Better to go out with someone then all alone. I doubt they'd have a relationship anytime soon. I mean sure, Damon might get a few romance spikes with her here and there but I don't see him leaving Elena anytime soon.

***** If you love Stelena then why are you here? You're just trying to find Damon anyone to hook up with. Bonnie HATES Damon and I mean really hates. The only time she ever helps him is when Elena or Stefan are involved. Plus, Stefan has moved on and I don't see him coming back to her anytime soon. He even admitted that Damon and Elena are miserable without each other.

***** You seem like a new viewer. If you watched the previous seasons, Bonnie never showed any affection towards Damon whatsoever, what makes you sure she'll love him? If the other side collapsed then Damon and Bonnie wouldn't have seen each other. Stefan is probably never coming back to Elena or else Elena will seriously be a slut. Stefan moved on because he gives up way too easy, Damon spent years pining on Elena which shows that he won't give up on her anytime soon.

I like how Damon stole the show from Stefan cause his character was suppose to die in season 1 or 2

The first time I watched this I sobbed so hard. Omg his goodbye broke my heart

Ok but their acting in this scene is beyond ordinary.

and this is exactly why i’m so inlove with delena.

I wish Elena could have heard him. This was the sadest Elena and Damon moment ever.

I love that he improvised using the line “I don’t have a choice baby”
