Dame telling the truth. I was raised upper middle class by a single mother was was never home. I know she did the best she could, and I love her, but I wish she was home more. She didn't need to work all them extra shifts, but any body with parents from the Caribbean knows their work ethic is over the top.

When start out poor you make it you still have fear of poverty.... plus she had a kid she wanted to pay for education what if you was unemployed amd was in college... she would want to support you and pay for college. What if you had a baby. And had problems. So that why she worked so hard😊

@@keithwisdom1663 She didn't need to do it on her own though, she left my father and made it harder on herself, that was her choice, my dad wasn't a bad person. He had stable employment, helped around the house, helped to take care of us etc.... Modern women don't have the same respect for marriage as traditional women. She did what she wanted, and not what was best for us.
