    Respectfully I don't care who don't like him I wasn't raised to follow no man!! What's the deal is the brother has principles that I respect, hes always pushing self reliance and positive business moves he builds on resignates with me. So I think that's what's important today not a lot of people that I myself personally will invest my valuable time listening to if I can't vibe off of what they're putting forth. Peace

  • @Nonetomuch

    @Nonetomuch

    @GB GB his delivery has always been the same so that doesn't make sense. When he was over Rocafella he was more aggressive than he is now. There is plenty of video to show this. If you're sensitive person then you wont like how he says things. That's not his problem. Its WHAT he is saying that's important not HOW he says it.

  • @Nonetomuch

    @Nonetomuch

    @GB GB but he seems to be fine where he is. Dont you get that? He didn't beg anyone to bring him on their platforms they asked him to come. It would be different if he was begging people for interviews, he doesnt have to. He is controversial enough for people to always tune into what he talks about. He knows this and is willing to go to others platforms to make himself more available to be seen. Lyor Cohen is a true culture vulture in every sense of the word. We didn't need Damon Dash to tell us that. Lyor Cohen is a Jewish man who doesnt listen to hip hop but found himself running a hip hop label. He doesnt respect it or the people that come from it. Look at the garbage artist he promotes now. It was always about the exploitation and money with him. That's the man you want him to be nice too? I didnt agree with him apologizing to him, but that doesnt mean he isn't still a culture vulture. Lyor Cohen doesn't deserve our respect. You want Dame to speak nicely to people who dont respect him, why? Is that what you do? It's a difference with being respectful and nice. I own my own business and I talk to people respectfully but I dont take disrespect from anyone and I dont hold my tongue, hasn't hurt me yet and never will. If you have a problem with being told the truth or held accountable, I don't need to work for you period. Its not meant for him to be at the top of white America, that's his whole point. Now I dont agree with everything Dame Dash says, but what I do agree with is how black artists should work together and how he said now "white ball" those who seek to come in and exploit. Every culture does that.

  • @Nonetomuch

    @Nonetomuch

    4 жыл бұрын

    @GB GB yeah I'm sure it's cool being a sellout. We have plenty of those in our community. You will never work with either so it's easy to say that you have nothing they want. You can say Dame took an L that's fine, but you are on here talking about him, not the other way around. The fact that you know who is says he didnt take that L. Did he lose money yes I'm sure, but that doesn't mean he lost in life. You want the dude to be broke and destitute why because you dont like him? That's stupid. He is arrogant so what, you dont think Jay Z is? You dont think most of those big artist are? Get over it, that's your ego talking. If you dont like him that's fine but dont make it seem like he is the only awhole in the industry. Jay Z is a horrible business man but he has great name recognition(because of Dame Dash) that's what keeps him up. He knows how to ride a wave very well. He is not busniess savvy at all but he is around people who can use his brand. Every business deal he has put his hands on he has either been used or it failed but he has enough name recognition that you all dont count his losses. Dame on the other hand wants to OWN his own brand outright. He wants to be independent which he is. The ups and downs that come with it. Like I said before I dont agree with everything he says but he way is more realistic to people who want to sleep well at night. If you want to kiss ass your whole life that's fine. You can make a lot of money that way. If thats all you are about then that's all you'll ever be about and if you can live with that that's fine...but it's not realistic. Having a lot of money is cool, I've been there but having a piece of mind is pricless.

    I’m African American and I’m not the one to easily pull the race card because I think people are people but there are times when racism is racism because I have experienced some crazy situations living in Los Angeles! With that said I totally understand what Damon is saying about Adam22 and how white/or other cultures describe black people differently from white people when the experience is the same just different skin tones! I also agree with Damon about cutting the “middle man” out and becoming financially independent! The latter is absolutely imperative for every black person moving forwards! Also, black people need to take responsibility for their bad behavior and calling each other when we disrespect one another because the things I’m seeing young black kids do on social media is jarring and disturbing! The black on black Genocide taking place in the inner cities is absolutely horrendous! Every black celebrity with money and power should be rallying up the community to put an end to this because the black politicians that’s been in power for decades haven’t been successful at all! Instead they’ve been perpetuating this with all of their failed Democratic policies! Stop celebrating these black leaders that have been in power for decades pushing these failed policies in the black community! Until black peoples address the big “purple elephant” in the room African Americans will remain divided!

    No, you actually don't understand what Dame said about Adam22. Dame took something Adam22 said and tried to flip it and make it look as if he was talking about what black people want. Go back and watch that entire video with Adam22. Dame took a portion of that video completely out of context and did him dirty. That was foul.

    MrBlackBradPitt I’m not fan of Damon Dash but I work In the Entertainment industry as well and it’s brutal especially for non whites! Whether you or anyone else like or not Damon Dash is a Legend & highly accomplished! He’s paid his dues and deserves a level of respect! People are hard in this industry because it’s an extremely hard life and achieving ultra success in this industry is like hitting the lottery! Damon Dash has done that so that’s why he has such a hard exterior! Adam22 hasn’t achieved not even an ounce of what Damon Dash has accomplished ! If he didn’t have a great experience then he should’ve walked away and not talked about it! That’s how it’s done! I’ve had to work with some crazy ass celebrities but you don’t see me making a KZread video about it or blasting them on social media because I would never work again! People wouldn’t trust me with their privacy! Adam22 wasn’t assaulted in anyway so he should’ve kept his mouth shut! That’s the nature of this business! Adam22 was wrong period!

    Dames a businessman I love the fact he is unapologetically black and yes how does a man outside a black man know what a black man wants I agree 100% and I watched the growing up hip hop and his son is trapped sorry he needs to understand what respect means this is the old school way of raising your kids and sticking together as a family and because your daddy did what he did you don't need to work and struggle and I get where boogie coming from as well now that he is an adult he should respect me its earned to give a man gets what he earns when he earns it.
