    Big business always screws over the bottom line in pursuit of profits. From airlines to supermarkets, to utility companies and media corporations. Australia needs to focus on monopolies, otherwise democracy and competition will always be dead.

    Just look at how AGL hiked the electricity price ..... Within 4 months, the rate has tripled! Look at how much the feed-in tariff if compared to the electricity usage rate !!!

    How many times do we here this one ? The price of a barrel of oil has risen so expect to pay more at the pump ! But when price of a barrel of oil drop the price at the pump don't The beef farmer's are getting high price for beef cattle expect to pay more for meat products! ! but when the farmer getts less per head of beef cattle price don't drop Conection fees for utility bills rise every year to do what ? Hgh Fees on your supper funds to sends you a statement & that's all they do . They already make a profit from investing your money held in accounts

    this is monopoly capitalism doing what its always going to do - extract as much wealth from the public as it can get away with and then say its due to the pandemic, or the war in ukraine, or inflation and the public are utterly powerless government regulation with teeth is what is needed against the inhuman greed of big businesses - - and it is these businesses who are causing the inflation, yet as usual the RBA will ignore them and just put futher pressure in the public to pay the bill

    Yep not to mention all the government hand outs like job keeper. So many big businesses happily took job keeper but later reported record breaking profits and didn’t pay back what the government gave them. The country is stuffed, the world is stuffed, people’s morals are stuffed.

After all, how cannyou expect any long-term, meaningful change when one Party is lucky to get even 1-2 term's in Government most of the time?
