Yeah that’s true. “Alone” was easily the best song from CW. But now they’ve stacked the roster. Kevin Sherwood, Jack Wall, and Bear McCreary (he did the Walking Dead soundtrack). Can definitely hear Bear McCreary’s influence in this one, especially around 1:06.

Also, the story is about the dark aether's old gods before Kazimyr Zykov entered the Dark Aether. So when Zykov becomes the Forsaken he consumed and changed it, leaving only remnants... therefore, CW zombies theme called "Echoes of the Damned"

@@alfie0827 No it wasn't it was worse than WW2 Zombies, it was way too easy and didn't have any original maps what so ever. It ruined the perk system by making every perk op and not having a perk limit. And the abilities were too good and refreshed way too often.

This version is giving me heavy Uncharted and/or Bioshock vibes and I’m loving every second of it.

They should add an option to use this version of damned in Cold War just so this amazing version of the song doesn't go to waste

I have no idea one way or the other but it seems to me they are going to come back, possibly in this game. Of course they will be operators we have to buy I think but I really feel like im on to something here. The first map has shi no numa in it which if I'm not mistaken is where ultimus was actually created..... That and treyarch is at the helm and its ww2... the first time we got to see those characters was in world at war (also ww2)

I‘m almost certain, that our beloved Primis/Ultimis Crew will return within Treyarch‘s next own COD game & zombies mode in 2023. The story is literally building up to it, there’s so many teasers and hints in Cold War and surely also Vanguard within the upcoming year. When they released the statement, back in 2018, after the events of Tag der Toten, saying the Aether storyline is over, the multiverse collapsed and everything got banished into the Dark Aether, I think they just wanted to take a break from the Aether storyline and the boys after almost 10 years of telling this absolutely beautiful, amazing and oscar-worthy storyline, because some people were starting to get tired or fed-up or whatever it was of the storyline, so they tried something new with the Chaos storyline, that completely flopped and they went back to the Aether (Dark Aether) storyline in Cold War. If my theory should come out to be true, after waiting 5 years for the Primis Crew to return, they will finally be revealed (BIG MAYBE) at the end of Vanguard or the beginning of 2023 Treyarch zombies… also there‘s a LOT of theories why the ending at Tag der Toten didn‘t make sense and now that Richtofen is back in the form of Eddie, it‘s just building-up to it. I just really, really, really hope we‘re gonna get them back as the old cast we‘re used to from BO1-BO4, with the old beloved voice actors and not fucking operators. I‘m certain 90% of the zombies community wants them back and I think it‘s just right Treyarch listens to the majority of us. Fingers crossed boys 🤞🏼

This has the potential to be the best iteration of this song. I absolutely love how it captures the fantastical and deeply emotional feeling from the old Aether storyline and incorporates it with the new Dark Aether storyline, but still giving its own touch. It feels like this is where both stories finally meet.

This is so good, This version is very dark. With Darkness, fits with the tone with the War. I honestly would say this one is lot meanicing then Cold War. Treyarch just knocks it out of the park with Damned😤I'm so hyped for this Zombies. What's interesting about this version to me it sounds like the Intro to World at War. I'm think I'm getting deja Vu right now. The tone sounds like WAW

I think a lot of it has to do with Activision not giving them enough time to make their vision fully. Remember, this happened with bo4 when raven and sledgehammer couldn't agree on making another cod so treyarch had no choice but to be force to make another cod as they were working on BO4, thats another big reason why BO4 fell apart. and with cold war they were forced to work from home because of COVID. on top of it all. Treyarch isn't supposed to release another cod til 2024 which gives them more than enough time to polish their game. Im hoping that it'll be good.

Atleast the menu theme dosen't suck.

Bo4 got fucked because 3arc needed to take over sledgehammers 2020 game when bo4 launched basically. (which became bocw btw). Vanguard zombies got fucked since activision told treyarch that vanguard needed a third mode. Would not get my hopes up for cod2023 if it actually dont get pushed back a year. Activision should really give em enough time to make a polished game imo.

@@ghost1841 that’s why they need to make a full zombies game that’s about the original aether squad and storyline. every old map, and everything to do with them and then for every dlc they could add multiples maps instead of just one

the only reason why cod could every stay alive is it's memorable zombies trilogy. the fanbase for zombies is unlike any other and are always solving mysteries, even multiplayer mysteries.

Don't like the style but this version of dammed is amazing

The soundtrack in this game is insane, especially the zombies theme. So amazing that it sounds just like the old zombies music.
