When ever I have a bad day and need someone or even if I'm having the best time of my life, I always end up here. Damien rice music is an assortment of bitterness, sweetness, and refreshing.

You all are going to hate me for this but this is better than the U2 version, but may be that is it reminds me of my last love and how i felt about her. Either way I can just listen to this over and over. Damien you ROCK and this is a whole different song more about love than the U2 versions.

This is actually a sweet cover. Most people that cover this song normally do the same thing. You took the lyrics of the song and created a totally different feel to it. Lots of people have attempted to cover this, not a lot did a very good job. I was actually pleased with the cover Disturbed did, but this is a huge difference. Disturbed brought their own feel to it.... you totally changed it. Great job my friend! (Likely Damien will never see this... whatever haha)

It's a beautiful rendition, imo. Unlike U2's version (which is very powerful), this one speaks much more personally about the love and desire for that special someone, and the struggle that he undergoes.
