The Marley LIONS are children of the best and most prophetic musician of the modern age IMO. Inheriting that greatness isn't something typical. Ziggy, Stephen and Damian are personally my favorite current musicians, family legacy aside. It's a matter of taste.

Los Angeles has a large Hispanic community if I'm not mistaken. Hot 97 has flagship people that represent "where hip hop lives" yet NONE of them are from NYC, i.e. Ebro, Peter, Laura, Nessa, etc. No shots but c'mon now. That's more deserving of a side eye than Big Boy not having black people around him.
