Bucks will be much better on offense, but worse on defense. If Kris could play pg and better d it could be a solution. But I don't see that happening, so we'll have to wait and see...

@@user-zd9vy4nw1eYou can’t even spell Khris right. He’s not an elite defender but he’s long and a plus defender when healthy which all indications from the offseason are that he is. Sure the Bucks lose Jrue’s defense but they still have two legit DPOY candidates from last season and Crowder on the bench, they’re not all of a sudden a bad defensive team. They are all of a sudden a scary offensive team though. Dame and Giannis in the pick and roll will be a pick your poison for defenses. If they load up on either of them, the other and/or Khris will feast. Khris proved he can be a number two option on a championship team, now he’s the number 3 and won’t have much pressure from defenses. This move makes the Bucks much better overall, thinking other is foolish. I’ve been a huge fan of Jrue his whole career but this is a massive W for the Bucks. Also why would Khris playing PG be a solution? That’s Dame’s role lol.

You are right about misspelling, but let me tell you about the rest. Lillard is a better shooter/ scorer than Khris (😁) so i will prefer him to play 2 or even 3 in order to have the ability to attack more without the duty of play making and stuff. Its just a thought about how he could team up better with Giannis. I said Khris could try pg because i beileve that now he could do it better than anyone else on the team. He have the ability to pass more than others (if we take out Dame), knows Giannis for years, he can work and improve so he could manage to take this role on the team. I dont think he is the best handler or have the best footwork but he can work on it. About defence, dude Jrue is out, Damian is in. Its so simple to understand that change makes Bucks a bit worse in defence. You talking about other players like they're wasn't on the team priore. They dont change anything, because they where here from the start. What change is that Jrue is gone. Same goes about Khris and defence, nothing is different than before except Holiday. Anyway i could be wrong but we doht know that for sure if we dont see it first. Just a little reminder. Lebron make a 10 apg season and play 1 and 5, its not bad for a player to test his powers in other roles. If Lebron did at 36 (?, i dont remember actualy excactly how old he was) i think Khris could do it also, or at least try it out. Please dont go in defending mode, i wasnt accusing anyone, i just suggesting things. Ps. Sorry for mispelling. Hope Bucks work it out.

Holy, I am still in shock from this trade. I remember talking to my friends back in April fantasizing about Dame going to Milwaukee, but the only rumors about him being traded only mentioned the raptors, philli, Chicago, Brooklyn and the heat obviously. But it’s just insane how one day he’s going to the heat or raptors, but now he’s playing for my team I’ve been watching for years. Absolutely insane.

Cronin screwed so many teams with this trade, it's unbelievable. First, Miami of course and the rest of the Eastern conference, esp. Philly and Boston. Their path to championship became a thousand times harder. Then all those teams keeping their precious assets for Giannis and wouldn't spend them on Dame. So satisfying to see.

Also, it's hard to quantify what crushing Miami's hopes and dreams for all of Butler's prime is worth, but I figure its 3 FRPs. 40-30-71 shooting splits and clutch defense he did push them over the edge for the chip I'll give him that clutch defense. But got shredded last year on defense by jimmy butler shooting 47 percent efg.

What’s going to be incredible is Dame is one of those incredibly rare elite ball handler + elite range guards that can just absolutely change how a defense plays in a half court offense. Imagine trying to cut off Dame by funneling defenders off a screen and then you have Giannis on a back door cut? Dude is going to be an off ball monster with this new spacing. Middleton is gonna start to get Klay-esque looks too…and this team got even better at passing. If they can find a way to add another defensive stopper with Pat Con then it’s lights out

I am sad to see Dame go, but I'm definitely relieved that he's getting paired up with his dream teammate Giannis. Nobody is really talking about it, but the Suns just added some much needed depth to that roster. Nurkic is a solid center. Love him or hate him, Allen is a career 40% 3P shooter, and just imagine the looks he'll get with the Suns. Nas Little is a younger SF/PF, solid defender. Keon Johnson is a 20yo rookie. On a team with basically 3 max players and vet mins...

Great trade. Some prediction because of it: 1. The heat "dynasty" is over (2 finals trips). Jimmy buckets is getting older and this will be the year he won't be MJ in the playoffs but just a bit less. With a worse roster and no clear way to upgrade or extend. Might take 2 seasons and then he will be a old man and great as a 3rd option. 2. There will be a harden deal with Jrue involved. It is the best option to get some value back for harden and a great way for the blazers to get some free future assets. 3. Dame will make his real case to be in the top 75 the next 2 or 3 seasons. That he can be a winner as well as a loyal small town player. Love he ended up in another small market and is put into a position to win. Dame winning in Miami would have felt bad.

Wym by a trade involving harden and jrue? If you're saying the blazers will trade for harden then that's a bit dumb. They're wanting to rebuild. So they'll be looking for young players. The blazers are looking to trade jrue once the trade goes through. But getting harden won't be on their priority. His value is much worse now.

@@tuhoegamerjerey I think it will be a 3 (or more) team trade. 76ers get a great defensive low maintenance 3rd option with championship experience. The team that gets harden gets a year of entertainment (bad team without already a great young player) and a way to sell tickets or get false championship hope (clippers). Blazers get some young guys that are a bet and a 1 round draft pick.

This is the type of deal Cronin was going for. There was a good reason why he had no interest in a package headlined by Tyler Herro, Duncan Robinson, and maybe a 2nd round pick. I like how they came away with Ayton, who is exactly what the team needed. A young big man who should form a nice 1-2 punch alongside Scoot.

But I think he will be less of a liability for two reasons. #1 he will get a larger role on the team as arguably the 2nd scorer and top frontcourt option and #2 the Blazers aren't really expected to do much this year, so it provides them with enough time to try to mold Ayton into the player that we've seen flashes of in Phoenix but never really saw consistently and develop chemistry with the Scoot-Simons backcourt.

Bucks can win a championship in the next 2-3 years. Giannis is arguably a top 5 player 5 of HIS generation. Dame is a top 5 pg in the league. One of the most skilled and consistent Point guards ever. I believe the Milwaukee Bucks organization is great and will get the right pieces around their 2 Hall of Famers. This is exciting to see history

Was a Trail Blazer fan for years before we got Dame, but after how they treated him leading up to this and never got him talent in Portland... it's like they were content staying as a B level team. I'm a bigger Dame fan than a TB fan at this point. Can't wait to see what he does with the Bucks.

@@andybeardsack7898 Well, I don't fully disagree, but Grayson Allen lead the league in defensive efficiency, and as the host said, Holiday is the best defensive PG in the league, so they are taking quite a hit. Of course they still have the Greek Freak, Lopez, Portis and J. Carter, so that bunch can make up for a lot of mistakes.
