The pearl cluster could've been used as buttons maybe?

It's certainly possible, but they have noting on the back that could be used as a shank. I think they probably were meant to be glued or sewn on as trimming? They are weird!
Love your pearl drop earrings….do you ever do them or other jewelry in silver?
