Dame Edna Everage sings Up There Cazaly at the AFL Grand Final 2005
Up there Cazaly
In there and fight
Out there and at 'em
Show 'em your might
Up there Cazaly
Don't let 'em in
Fly like an angel
You're out there to win
Up there Cazaly
In there and fight
Out there and at 'em
Show 'em your might
Up there Cazaly
Show 'em your height
Fight like the devil
The crowd's on your side

RIP Dame Edna?Barry Humphries. Legend.
Wow. Dame Edna is amazing!
So wonderful to see hundreds of gladdys! Missing you, Dame Edna, in the USA. We have a little outdoor theater just opened in the neighboring community. You should come and do the Grand Opening! ♥️
She is a true legend

Of course, any real Australian would know the song is actually Up There, Cazaly after Australian Rules Footballer, Roy Cazaly (1893-1963), who played in the early 1900s, in the position known as “ruckman”. He was legendary for his “high flying” marks.

Apologies Xubono. I’m from the UK and while my love of the Dame makes me get a lot of Australian and Melbourne colloquial humour, I sometimes miss somethings out. Post amended.
