Guys, remember once you nails are damaged they are damaged and cant be repaired cause you can’t make them thick again, what you can do is make them as short as possible so they wont get caught on things and have painful breaks and take care of them so your new nail growing will be healthy, also if there are any peels, DONT peel them. The peel will go deeper and eventually peel again and the peel will never grow out. This short does show a good way to regrow them too. Also I recommend wearing lots of nail polish so your less likely to peel a peel and your nails will get a little extra support even if its just regular polish. And btw im not a professional I just have experience from over buffing my nails.

You’re using OPI repair mode wrong. You’re supposed to use it on bare nails, apply twice a day for 6 days straight, 12 applications in total. After that you can use it underneath any treatment that contained varnish like nail envy.

I think for best results they suggest using it for 10 days but yes! I wondered why she only used it once.

I would just like to say, nail strengtheners can be counterproductive if you’re trying to grow long nails. If you use it too much, it will make your nails so hard that they snap easily

Yep use a good cuticle oil so they bend instead of snap

Hope I can remove my rubber base without wrecking my nails too much. I'm about to look for that serum. I have everything else. I file the color off, then I use that gel remover in a bottle and it takes product off well.

I get your pain. 2 months prior i got my 1st acrylics, keep in mind my natural nails were already long and alot of people thought of then as fake/acrylics but they were my natural nails. I broke 2 of my natural nails and thought might just get acrylics due to occasions coming ahead (both hands natural out acrylics in). After sometime 2-3 weeks i removed them. Soaked them up in acetone for almost 25 minutes and removing it by scraping and filing them off. Trust me from that day till now my natural nails haven’t grown out much. I have been applying oils as well as garlic on it yet no results😢 any tips?

I dunno about acrylic but gel nails done by Russian technician was so strong (also cute) and thick that i had to grow it out as no one near me could remove it properly. So my own nails were pressed, flat and thin. It took me a year to see them grow a half moon surface. I learnt to use a normal nail polish and never going back to gel

Ohhh shoot... I had the same thing happen to me! I alwayyys used to do my nails with normal polish and then I started doing gel and ugh.. even if I do it right because I have a license now, my nails aren't as strong as before (and they were still pretty thin and fragile compared to other people lol) and then you feel like you have to continue putting gel on your nails otherwise they will break il one second lol Anyways, use cuticle oil and hand cream ❤ (I found that the Vaseline pink hand cream called "Intensive care : healthy hands, stronger nails" REALLY helped me tho!! I never thought that about a handcream but wow 😍👌🏻 Good luck 🥺🫶🏻🤞🏻🥰💐

I just use rubber base and my natural nails grow so fast becouse i cant break them 😄. Before this i couldn't grow them wcen with nail hardeners and all the nail products for strengthening in the world. For best results use dehydrator, primer, base and rubber base. When its rime you will need to remove them really carefully and if you can use a file is even better. I have learned to do it safely but if the person cant do it better buy base that can be removed with acetone. And even with the acetone you need to be patient becouse if you force it it will damage your nail. So a good rubber base, proper removal (when is necessary) and if you dont have lifting just do a infill without taking the whole product. Watch videos of how to correctly do it and no matter what nails you have they will get long. Good luck everyone ❤

@@MsSahai I do live in Bulgaria so the ones i use im not sure are available everywhere BUT i do love using KODI and i know that they have it in America. Its important to not get from the really cheap ones becouse it woudnt stay. The good thing is that you can remove it with acetone so you woudnt need to damage your natural nails with a drill if you dont know how to use it ❤. After a fue times you will have amazingly long nails becouse of the base 🥰.

@@kalinaantonova223I’m in the US and use KODI and love it. There’s 2 types, one in a black bottle that is thinner and the “professional” type in red bottle that is thicker. It’s personal preference imo which you use. I have both and use different one in different circumstances on different nails honestly. I usually prefer the thicker red bottle “professional” KODI rubber base bc I find I have better control w the thicker formula. That’s me though. And I have very thin fragile nails on middle through pinky finger but very strong thick nails on pointer and thumb (weird, I know!). That is another reason I enjoy different formulas for different nails. I’ve grown my nails much longer and gotten so much flexible strength with these rubber bases. I love them and would never go back.

I feel like the best solution I tried so far is to use a buffer to get rid of any hanging nail. Oil them with either jojoba oil or any nail oil and a thin coat of rubber base. It's going to make the nails stronger so they don't break as easily. Oh and remember to oil under the free edge too. And wait for the damage to grow out. Disclaimer: I'm not a professional, I'm an amateur. My nails grow faster not fast. And I have always had strong thick nails on both my hands and feet. Like the nail scissors once made a weird creaking noise when trying to cut my toenails type of thick. I once even managed to flip my ring finger nail the other way around and it didn't break.

Depends on how you got them off. If you use a nail file first then a gentle e-file next there should be little to no damage. If instead you did my mom's route of basically picking off her gel with her teeth then this is excepted. Also you can wait until they naturally grow out. Or if they naturally come off.

If you used a nail file back and forth you created so much friction it burns. I've been there done that. From now on I'll only go in one direction with my e-file on a slow speed when I'm near my natural way. I was able to remove terribly stuck on soft gel tips with little to no damage.
