April Bell I have to agree. I thought ah there's the winner but I felt as the season went on, he kinda faded. He is definitely magnetic & talented but no vocal comparison to Trent. Once I saw Trent's audition, which came after Dalton's, I just knew....yup Trent is gonna win. No denying his vocal beauty.

I am so proud of Dalton and his musical journey from IM5 to FAH and now to the Top 3 on American Idol. His talent is undeniable, and no matter how self-deprecating he may be, it's only going to grow from here. I wish him the best of luck, and hope to hear more music from him soon. #ImNobodyToo

Yes he's got the teen girls screaming...but so does every other hot male artist in the industry. What's wrong with that? His singing talent still remains. I have teen age kids and I love Dalton's talent. I will buy his album. I'm seeing a lot of people older than him making positive comments like mine. Kids need an artist like him right now. He is dealing POSITIVELY and RESPONSIBLY with bipolar disorder and spreading the word to help people of all ages to keep moving forward and getting help. Love you Dalton! Bless Bless :)

still can't get enough of Dalton Rappatoni... I'm turning 40 this July but whenever I watch him sing feels like I'm teenager again...

I loved him on Idol, but I'm glad he didn't win. He can now do what he wants with music. I also noticed that his idol performances, while good, seem so bland now that I've seen him in person. You don't see half of his performance quality here. He jumps around, dances, falls over, jumps into the crowd etc. and his voice is way better in person! You can see how fun his performance is in Eleanor Rigby, he acts more like that on stage :)

probably you have. Dalton needs to know that his voice is true like an angel but his songs crash/the market won't pick them up because they don't resonate, aren't good enough for radio et al. Be honest so he know I personally know song writers are giving him hot stuff, like what others do. Our boy should be on the radio every day his voice is so f'ing amazing. Beyond the fact that he is sexy as h***

I go to School of Rock and when he was on we all bleached our hair in support and to this day all we ever talk about is Dalton. I met him once and got a picture. Really cool dude!! He's awsome and is still very much apart of School of Rock!!

This is literally the best most helpful thing to just watch 30 minutes of nothing but Dalton and nothing else 😍

Will in the audience made me so happy

the way he LOOKS, the way he SINGS, the way he FEELS. this is a man who can deliver and it’s so pure and powerful all at the same time. a true american idol icon.

His song selections were very smart..

GH Fever but just like he said. He ended in a good place, yes sure it’s great to win but also ending in third, you don’t get all of the album help and all the forces of the heavy industry

I never had an interest in American idol...I haven't even heard of this guy until a few days ago. I saw a video of him on Twitter and decided to check him out. I can't stop watching this...his voice is lovely and he has so much passion.

I love how theatrical he is. He has a naturally beautiful voice and clearly wants to share that. He is very interesting to watch, it's like watching the musical parts of Disney movies (I mean that in the best way possible). The songs he chooses are perfect for him and he sounds very confident. Plus he's ADORABLE and funny. I just discovered him and Fly Away Hero, but I know I'm gonna love it. Fandoms ruin my life. Also, thanks to whoever made this.

OMG, the best 30 minutes of my lifre. I loves watching this and I am 65 years old. LOL.

I love this compilation so much. I am so proud of him and I feel like he should have won. People started to hate on him because it seemed as if only young girls voted for him because of his appearance. But I disagree. He has talent and he changes each performance. I feel something for each performance unlike other performances from other people. I've been with Dalton since the IM5 days and he has grown so much. Best of luck towards him ❤️

if he could’ve done all of his performances with the power he had in eleanor rigby- I think he could’ve won

damn it, i just love his voice, i can and never ever will get sick of hearing him sing, in fact hes all i been listening too in the last few weeks or so, and i am literally 7 yrs older than the kid, ill be 27 in august, how is it that a young kid like him can influence us older folk like he did and still does lol? cos that ill never know, lol great now i am fangirling, i am too old to be doing that :P lo i need to gushing over him or else ill be a pile of goo. oh god his voice, damn it now i really am fangirling over a 20 yr old kid, guh i love him heaps

Omg!!! I remember watching this season and him being my favorite. I was watching old IM5 videos and didn't recognize him. Wow I totally forgot.

i really love that he performed songs he actually really loves despite his style not being very common on these types of shows.

Ok wow I’m actually in tears. God I miss lil baby IM5 Dalty but I’m so amazed at how he’s grown since then and I only love him more and more. 💕💕💕

His first audition stood out from all the others and he made me feel happy again for the first time in a long. And his IM5 works were good too but you could tell he wasn't happy there. But anytime I have a bad day anymore I just go into my music and listen to him and it makes my day better automatically

"Hey Dalton, for this number, all three of us are going to where black. Do you have any?" *Dalton looks into his closet* "I'm sure I can piece something together."

I still remember him as an awkward dancer in Rest of Our Lives.. Holy Cow, he's still so humble. I can't wait for his album to drop and for him to do a tour. He truly deserves the best. He may not have the greatest range, but the way he puts his whole being into the music makes you not notice it at all.

The whole package! I love the wonderful selection of eclectic song choices and many of them vintage from my era. He has extraordinary artistic taste and knows who he is as an artist. I think he's an old soul who should be writing songs and I hope he takes them far.

My heart just rips during "God Only Knows" and "Bird Set Free". I love his singing!

Man, seeing him here and then remembering my little pre-teen ass was obsessed with him and still kinda being obsessed with him makes me sad because he deserved to be recognized just like the rest of the im5 group

I've been in love with Dalton since IM5 and Toddy's Disney Dudez and I'm so happy he's getting the fame and attention he deserves. Love you Dalton and I hope the new fans Stay through the tough times

This reminds me of October when I saw him. NGL I cried when he came out. I just couldn't control my feelings bc I was so happy. I have been following his carrer since he was in Im5 and up to now! I'm so happy he's able to do what he loves for people that Love him. aka the nobodies that love him

He 's 100% deserved to win! Can't believe people don't see that with me... He has it all.

Dalton's passion while singing is a life-changer for me. He is REAL, authentic and genuine. And smart. And sophisticated. And a Poet. The moment I heard him sing on Idol, there have started some serious changes in my life. I thought that I have buried my "lost inner child" deep deep down and built huge walls around it, that I make it look like everything is just perfect. But the memories of being "nobody" broke through with a tsunami while he was spilling his heart out during the "Bird set free". It was a complete emotional meltdown for me. With Dalton's help, I got one more chance to re-live my teenage days, to re-think the lessons I have learned and re-do the damage that was done to my self-esteem. After hiding all this inside, imitating that I am fine, finally, I really feel good about myself. And I am very proud to be a nobody too. Dalton, I owe you a huge THANKS and the warmest and tightest hug possible!

He was my absolute favorite idol of that season!!! I was rooting for Dalton all the way!!

Saw his show recently in Somerville Mass. The kid is brilliant. His songs although a bit dark and sad are well written and sung even better. He is bloody brilliant. His battle will be that his typical fan may not like his music No matter, the kid is a genius. I wish him nothing but success as he has obviously had some battles to overcome.
