THANK U Portland for passing on Dalton Knecht, from a Laker fan. 😉
Good interview. His smile when he says “it paid off” is definitely that of someone whose dreams of making millions to play in the nba are about to come true. He had an incredible college season.

Earned every dollar. His personality really sold me. His game is actually what sold me though haha
Perfect sf for sharp and scoot. Older player , can play off the play , excellent 3 point shorter. And has better all around game then people think. Perfect pick at 7. Reminds me of Klay Thompson.

Klay Thompson is a good comparison for his ceiling for sure. Also similar to a pre injury Gordon Hayward imo.
This guy could help scoot out a lot. I hope we get him.

The Scoot drive and kicks would be insane. He's a sniper and a more athletic version of Duncan Robinson who can finish.

Perfect fit for the blazers at 7 , seasoned older player , rookie of the year potential

Another guard tho… seriously? Are they gonna trade Ant AND Shaedon?

@@gregbors8364 He's not a guard
I was hoping that at least one of these guys they're working out wouldn't seem like a good fit so I could write them off. This is going to be a tough draft. No real obvious choices but I guess it comes down to who's available.
He’s a really good player, seems a little small for a 3 though, and that’s really the position that the Blazers need to fill with the #7 pick. But if they think he’s the best available talent on the board when they draft they should go ahead and take him and sort the rest out later. A good 3 or 4 prospect should be available at #14 as well
He can already bring BIG scoring punch coming off the bench if we take him
Knecht is a solid player. We may take him at 7, but should DEFINITELY take him at 14.
Great Basketball knowledge. Has cinder bocks for feet on defense. Has good make up speed on defense when beaten on first step
You’re the best
Hooper
So good at
“And stuff”
Damn! With all of the connections to Colorado this guy is definitely who Chauncey & Joe wants. Makes sense why they’re trying to trade up into with a second pick in the top 10. It’s this guy for sure, & between Holland & Salaun.
And I feel like it’s bad on Chauncey too last years rookies should be like the final boss stage I would have them com in for multiple days have them do solo day and work out vs peers and then against rookies that came before them
Draft this guy at #7 and then a backup center at #14.
damn, again Spurs should've drafted him at #8
If they think he can start at SF one day, then I’m all for it. Although, I think there will much better upside swings long term with more size at 7. Tidjane Salaun/Cody Williams

They might be able to get one of those at #14

0% chance Salaun sliding past Spurs/Thunder, or Cody sliding past the Thunder/Bulls/Kings.

@@DirtyBlazersFanI’m no draft expert but I agree with your original comment on its face. I just think that if someone like Risacher or Buzelis, or maybe even Clingan falls to #7 (which is possible) maybe the Blazers should take that guy and hope one of the guys you mentioned falls to them at #14. I think Kinect is really a 2 guard and that’s a not a position of need for the Blazers right now.

Knecht might slide to 14 though 👀 he’s 23 and potentially is already near his peak so I could see teams going for more upside early

@@gregbors8364 I 100% the Blazers should go whoever drops of those 3 but I don’t think any of them will be available at 7.

2024 we are still doing solo workout after hearing all ex pro say this is not the way u should do it
last time we drafted a 23 year old in the lotto....
Knecht is better than scoot

Save the Welcome for when Knecht and the Lakers visit Charlotte next season. 😜
Draft Clingan or Cody Williams at 7, use Brogdon and 14 to trade up to 8 and take Knecht

Probably gonna take more than brogdon and the 14th to move up to 8

He won‘t fall to 14 but i‘d love him there. Maybe if he falls to 10 or so trade up a bit. But don‘t take him at 7

He did. Washington didn't want him
I think he can be a star, these european guys can't dunk like him. 😂
If castle is available Portland needs to take him at 7.
Don’t see why we need this guy when we have sharpe that plays all the same positions
@shadshad2972

Sharp is ball dominant, this guy can be successful without the ball, as a catch and shoot player , perfect fit for scoot and sharp.
@maisonwarner1057

@@shadshad2972 are we really gonna use the 7th pick on a 23 year old off the bench catch and shoot guy?

Yup Lakers took him. Ha sa newr 40 bert too and can score at 3 levels.
I’m a fan of his, but man he needs to work on his interviewing skills. Used the word “good” way too often. It kinda made him sound unintelligent.
