Dallas 060919 Severe Storm, Hail, and Aftermath Dash Cam
Hailstorm starts at 05:00.
Aftermath starts at 15:45
This is what I had to drive through yesterday.
I was on my way home when suddenly the hailstorm formed, had to find shelter to wait it out. I have been driving the same road for 6 years now never seen something like this.

Call me crazy but I love driving into storms until hail joins. Hell: a lot and a lots of dents and money.
Rain Stops . . . . . . Wiper minutes later: WUI WIU WUI WIU WUI WIU WUI WIU
You gotta love DFW weather. I lived in Arlington and then Saginaw for years. Now we live south of Austin. I miss the storms.
And just 1 hour prior to the storm, it was 95 and sunny.
An eventful journey it seems, weather-wise at least. Glad you made it safely to your destination as there were times where it appeared you could barely see where you were going.
I'm from Texas I was born in forth worth and I seen storms like that and stuff going everywhere I hope there wasn't a tornado glad you was safe
This must be where Sean Connery trained to become such an excellent driver
Personally I would stay away from trees in case a large branch fell onto the car. That's a scary storm to drive in, I wouldn't want to drive in that.
2:55 starting strong part
I’ve never seen a storm so bad like it😱😱😱😱
I have lilapsophobia so something like this would probably kill me... I live in the midwest so i'm not a stranger to wicked storms, but I am so cautious about checking the weather over and over before and after I go out. If it shows a storm or even something that might develop into one randomly, I basically cancel going anywhere because the way my mind works is a tornado is gonna drop on me with every storm i'm out in and it really sucks.
Hey, that was an awesome video. Thank you.
I like how you were able to find a little bit of shelter. That was one mean storm.
Amazing video
The aftermath was like a car maze
Yeah that was a EF0 tornado in mesquite
OMG SO MUCH STORM
Glad you were not hurt. Where were you when you pulled over ? Hopefully your car is not trashed.

Thanks! It was pretty scary lol. I was driving on Greenville heading south, that was the corner at the intersection of Royal Lane and Greenville. Side window got a little banged up, but all in all I am just glad nothing too severe happened lol.

@@DorohnL Amazing: as soon as you passed the shopping center area, the storm comes full force. Had you known, maybe could have waited out storm in a coffee shop.
Nice Video!
hello, you made a hail claim with your car insurance?
How big were the hailstones?
what hailstrom scary
early in morning
Yes what part of DFW? This storm was all kinds of weird as it moved at nearly 50 miles and hour and nearly due south. Also, the weather men said the winds were between 58mph (severe storm force) to 80 mph (category 1 hurricane force) for like 15 minutes. Much longer than your run of the mill severe thunderstorm.

It was definitely weird! I was driving on the Greenville road heading south. When I drove past Forest Lane (in North Dallas area, South of 635) that's when the wind suddenly got a lot worse.
I just saw this video. and wonder if this happens often there....and it seems people are getting used to this. greetings from Indonesia
