I paid 4000 for these new in spain from an authorized dealer😁...shows the importation mark up in the US...lots of time to break these in.

I have the opportunity to buy the Rubicon 6 from an audio store that had them as demos in the shop. I would pay 2500 euros, which is 50% of their official price. Would you recommend buying them used from a dealer store? Thanks!

Audio Experience is an authorized dealer for Dali too, but we are in CT, USA. it's totally up to you regarding what is more important to you - new with warranty or used without warranty and at a discount. either way they're incredible speakers !

@@audioexperience Thank you for replying. I live on the other side of the world (Romania), so I have to make do with the dealers in my area :) Anyway, I was looking for a more direct answer - do you think warranty is worth the extra $2500?

Hi...I know the cost is more in the US since Dali is in Europe...i have found a few pairs here in Europe for less...maybe msrp is different there due to importation...thanks for the unboxing video.

yes that is most likely the reason - any domestic product is typically less expensive than imported products

I wish Dali would have left the drivers the red maroon color...the Epicon 6 is avaiable in satin black with normal maroon cones..

cones are only black on this special edition - they're still the classic maroon but are matte finish now instead of gloss

yes...Dali only added the 2 new color options satin black and satin white to the epicon series...smart marketing move...just wish the cones for the rubicon special edition black were maroon like all other Dali drivers...thats the norm on how to spot a Dali speaker...oh well...

I personally don’t like the look of drivers, staring me in the face, it’s techy but ugly, regardless of how designed they are. Acoustically transparent cloth has no interference, with the sound quality, tho some will argue. Grills provide a finished look, that’s non-intrusive/attention-getting. I wouldn’t buy any spkr w/o them, sorry Mike Borresen, I bought Von Schweikerts. But at least you needn’t worry if there’s a cat in your room, they love spkr grills!😻😹😺.
