I knew the JG TMNT would be high. Even the regular version is rare and expensive. For sheet metal, only piece I have is the front of dale jr’s car from the sprint unlimited when Ambrose wrecked him.

I love Jr’s appreciation for the Harry Gant driver suit and legitimately was like damn I’d have bought that for $995!

Our boss bought a bunch of Dale Jr haulers and cars over the weekend

We used to go to Colorado in the late 70s to a dude ranch and they had that covered wagon lamp In their gift shop with just a normal beige fabric over the top as a light kit you could build yourself. I remember exactly what it looked like at the time, and that was it someone just changed the fabric. Probably their child’s pillowcase cover.

No ladies could resist the Daytona 500 cologne.

As a fan of the TMNT 2012 Series when it came out, I thought that the paint schemes NASCAR ran and how they named the 2016 and 2017 Chicagoland Races after the show was a pretty cool little when worlds collide(No pun intended) moment between my two favorite things back when I was 14. I did like many of the paint schemes(Jeffrey Earnhardt’s #33 Hulu/TMNT Chevy was one of my favorites), but I honestly didn’t know Jeff ran that scheme. It’s not the best TMNT scheme, but given how the series exploded in popularity, it’s no wonder why NASCAR decided to take advantage of the hype to get new younger fans in the sport.

If you really want more racing diecast and automobilia, I have a basement full! Fun video thanks for playing.

The custom diecast market is also bonkers with the risk you take in the builder doing subpar work. There's a plethora of sellers painting up those early 90s Revell diecast that had hard plastic wheels and virtually no detail with $200-$300 price tags. You're literally paying for a paint job on a cheaply made item.

I'm a big Jeff Gordon fan, yet I didn't recall the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles scheme. Though admittedly, I don't care for TMNT. I literally like Thomas the Tank Engine more. (Not including the official knock off called "All Engines Go".) I think Gordon ran the TMNT scheme in Chicagoland as a promotion for the Nickelodeon TMNT show that started about that time.

*I said $2,400 so I was $44.00 away.* I bought a 43 Richard Petty raced driver side rear quarter panel signed by Richard. It has the smiling Hamburger Helper glove mascot hand on it. It's so big I don't know what to do with it now that I retired and moved into a smaler place. It's to much for me to package up to sell and ship and I don't want to deal with trying to sell it. I guess I'll leave it for my kids to deal with and my other race used stuff when I'm gone.
