rwvry there is a difference between a player replaying a game for nostalgia, recall the story, or doing it for fun, and devs repeating events in a new expansion (which is really normal for Warcraft writing).

I don't think Dalaran is destroyed. That looks like a prison break from Violet Hold. That is the only part of Dalaran we see on the beach

Dalaran can't be left alone for more than 2 expansions huh. Dalaran might as well be the new protagonist of the whole wow saga at this point. Dalaran gets scooped, Dalaran teleports, Dalaran moves, Dalaran Falls.. Maybe Dalaran will get ressurected next..

I have no reason to buy this expansion at all. More dwarves? New big bad? Wasn't too enthralled with the tone of Dragonflight either. My mom thought it was cute but I want to feel like how I felt playing Witcher III or Fallout New Vegas, albeit toned down to retain the "T for Teen" rating. I miss the immersion.

Aluneth is partying in the twisting nether or wherever he was intitially fished out of, happy those stuck up mages in Dalaran got what's coming to them.

Junior is the most beta looking dwarf in the entire time space continuum of dwarves across all fantasy.

The brief bit on Delves reminds me of Delvings in LOTRO.

So we now have four versions of Dalaran in Wow. One a crater, one in Northrend, one over the Broken Isles and now one blown up again over Khaz'Algar. Blizzard really needs to stop obsessing over Mage central and make some new faction cities.

Oh that Magni, always getting put into a coma. And oh that Dalaran, always getting destroyed.

I really hope theres more allied races then just earthen, like they're cool and all, but I've already got fire dwarves. Honestly even northrends ice dwarves would have been cooler, maybe package them with a lost gang of frost trolls.

A central theme of Dalaran has been the Violet Hold. How many times has a prison break failed? Maybe Xalatath was smart and just blew up the chunk of the city hosting the prison?

Dalaran really cannot catch a break.

It is impossible for Xal'atath and her nerubian to have that much power to destroy Dalaran like Archimonde.

I doubt delves will be too difficult. They were made specifically for more casual leaning players who complained they can't keep up with the Mythic system but still want end game gear.
