Dal rasam
Have you ever tried a recipe that turned out so delicious that you made it for next 10 days straight?
For me it was this dal rassam, all credits to my sister in law @dsouzaaruna ❤️
It’s so good, I’m obsessed!✨
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup dal
- 2 large tomatoes, roughly chopped
- green chillies, as preferred
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- water as needed
For masala powder:
- 1 tbsp coriander seeds
- 1/2 tbsp cumin seeds
- 1/8 tsp methi seeds
- pinch of hing
- few curry leaves
- 3 to 4 red chillies (non spicy)
For tadka:
- mustard seeds
- curry leaves
- hing
- red chillies

That is Baingan Bhaja Cut brinjal in round shape, little thick. In a plate take salt, red chilli powder, haldi, and sarso ka tel,mix all of them. Now coat the baingan pieces with that mixture. In a flat pan or tava pour some oil, shallow fry the coated baingan. Cook well from both sides. After done just squeeze lemon over it and enjoy. Note:- You can coat the masala coated baingan in dry rice flour before putting it for shallow frying. It tastes super tatsy, I personally like to eat with lemon squeezed over it, u can avoid if u want. Enjoy the Baingan Bhaja🍆

@@creativeabha1322No that is different which u are saying is Baigan bhaja but in the video it's pakoda kind of which is made with Besan and then deep fry it...besan mei aap apne pasandita masale dal skte ho.

@@SnehaRay-yv1qr that may be baigan bhaja also, because some people coat the masal applied baigan in besan then they shallow fry it, mostly in Bihar, so that is a baigan bhaja, but may be its pakoda also, although that looks different

That is just Rasam and this is Pappu chaaru The only difference is in rasam there is no dal 😊

Rasam is incomplete without Garlic.

Add tadka at the end it will taste good.. key point in this rasam preparation is boiling the whole mixture to a perfect blend .if it's too much boiling or lesser than required taste will be spoilt..
