By far one of my favorite channels. Great video bro.
Very nice reel. I've used Daiwa reels for 50 year's now and even still use a 1977 2000ss witch still works great. Biggest fish in it was a 25lb. Chinook Salmon that took me to a few turns left on the spool after being attacked by a California Sea Lion.

Slick reel. I have the Shimano Vanford and couple of Tsunami Shield. This is out of my price range. Nice reel and maybe one day!

I have a large bass pond on my farm It’s also stocked with cats, bluegill and red ear sunfish. Will probably add rainbow trout this spring. Also have lots of rivers and other lakes in the area. Thinking about getting a 2000ss p Are you still loving the reel? What pole did you end up picking for it?

Nick. Whats the actual weight of this reel. Daiwa tends to underestimate the actual weight of most of their reels. My reels always weigh more than daiwa claims.

Problem with buying Daiwa reels from Japan is Daiwa US refuses to service them.

yup and some parts like main shaft and the bushing that holds the main shaft they wont sell you it because they want you to send the reel in and if you import it to usa you are on your own.. have to buy a whole new reel for parts .. they wont even sell the clicker holder .. i was looking to get this but looked at part support then that turned me off..spend 600+$ on this SF reel and bring it to usa is cool but its a price to pay for something happens
