Hi , what distance can you achieve with the 13ft , 3.25 test version with a 3oz lead

Please help me to choose test curve for 12ft x45. Usually I use bait boat, but sometimes I fishing in difficult places (snags). Should I choose 3.25lb or 3,75lb?
