Those fortunate of us humans who get to share our lives with a Fur ANGEL know unconditional love, trust, friendship and true happiness. To know the love from a Fur Angel is to be BLESSED. Sadly we only allowed a short period of time with our Angel. No matter how many years were are together it is never enough. As my vet told me years ago we are both Blessed and Cursed when we are chosen by a Fur Angel. Blessed by all the love and happiness we are given every minute of every day with them. Cursed because those minutes will fade so quickly and we will be parted much sooner than our heart can stand. For me the silence, hollowness and absence that has come from the losses over the years have never faded. But the Love that I was given from them grows stronger in my heart with every passing day. I know my Angels are still with me. I am so sorry for the loss of your precious Daisy. You can clearly see that she was made of love and fur. Look at the night skies and you will see her Golden Halo shining brightly down upon you. Thank You for sharing her with us. I send you love and comfort.

Agreed, it is so beautiful to love them but so painful to lose them and their life on earth is too short 😞

Every dog I have had was an emotional support dog. Just thinking about them brings up such a void. I never really "got over" their deaths. Such sweet unconditional love.

The old soul eyes, the white face and the tempered run of a senior dog in the twilight of their lives brings pause to those of us with younger dogs. Your girl was more than a pet...Daisy was your family. She reminds me of my Annie who was also born in 2007 and just passed on Dec 29th before this lasg New Yr She had the same coloring and was a GSD pitbull mix and whiskey colored too with the same beautiful solver face Id gove anything to look in her eyes again as you would for your Daisy . Ill bet they are playing together now as I write this with a tear in my eye for BOTH OF US who sadly have to wait to join them one day . BUT THEY ARE WAITING FOR US and watching over us now

I am sorry for your loss. They are family. Daisy was 17 years old. As I could tell not only she lived long but had a very good life. So sweet. I lost my little princess last year. She was only 3.5 years old. Still hurts 😢…

That is true. And for years, I knew we did not have a lot of time left and lived like everyday could be her last - however, it still hurts the same, because you do not believe it will actually happen.
