As a serious Star Wars fan, I think Daisy is a great actress, but hate she receives isn’t her fault. They should recognize it is the writer’s fault, not hers. So I agree with you.

But those that passionately hate on the Star Wars movies are giving her the unnecessary criticism. It’s not her fault that the films are bad, more so the writers and directors.

I also realise that because I have studied Hollywood for 20 years and yes I also know that celebs do normal things like us morals and if they show that more then we would relate to them even more and not just hide behind the celeb masks they put up ever time we see them at an event.

She was an unknown before Star Wars and it sent her status up to the top for awhile and then the decisions behind the scenes changed her character into a Mary Sue and we saw it and she took the full brunt of that backlash when in truth it was JJ Abrams, Rian Johnson and Kathleen Kennedy collective fuck up and they know it. But for the most part she has climbed out of that sarlacc pit and now she is getting herself back up and hopefully she is more aware that she needs to be more careful who she works for in the future.

Daisy Ridley is a worldwide treasure!!!! In 2021, Rey Skywalker is bigger than Spider-Man to me. Three actors couldn't embody Spider-Man in the same way Christopher Reeve IS and FOREVER is Superman. But Daisy is 100% Rey Skywalker for all time. ❤ I'm watching this movie for Daisy, not for Tom.
