God i would of been about 13 then... quite sure i would of been at the fair then, me and my friend loved it and used to get so excited at the thaught. And we was safe going on our own. Best years of my life also. Great to see Vanessa.

Wow , i have just found this , i was 19 and working on Silcocks speedway ride that later got turned into a waltzer ride , very happy times and i could almost smell the hot dogs and candy floss.......thanks for the memories

I'm afraid this is all I have, they can be downloaded from my Flickr page. Daisy Nook Fair was the event of the year when I was at school, I don't know if its true but it doesn't seem as big as it used to be, but it has very fond memories for me too.

i was 14 back then i have very fond memmories of me and my mates going to the fair...i havnt lived in oldham for over 30 years thanks for bringing my memmories back..
