Came across this by accident, but was intrigued and decided to watch. I had no idea who Daisy Lowe is, I had to look her up. Anyway seeing some of the comments below I don't get the complaints, I think Daisy does a very credible job as presenter, she seems to know her stuff about Christina Rossetti, her family and the movement they were part of. And if she doesn't then she does a very good job of coming across like she does, which might be even more impressive given the ease and confidence she talks about her subject. I found her engaging, knowledgable and hardly "boring" which is really quite refreshing as these types of videos always run the risk of being dry and academic. I had no problem watching this end to end and for my part found it quite enjoyable. And I think Daisy is a very apt choice to talk about Christina Rossetti as I'm sure Daisy is every bit the heart breaker today that Christina apparently was in hers. Oh, and the art wasn't half bad either!

Christina Rossetti remains one of the best poets England produced. Truly remarkable artist.

    I agree. Dismally underrated lyricist.

Daisy Lowe lovely presenter. Sometimes Dante would use a different model's hair as when he painted his sister Christina he used his future wife Lizzie Siddal's hair. Making it look like Christina has red hair. Their was much folklore them days surrounding women with red hair. Maria Rossetti was brilliant writer, she wrote A Shadow of Dante that is best translation to date; her sister Christina was a great poet, and their brother's Dante and William also very gifted, Dante a great Pre-Raphaelite artist and amazing poet, William worked as Tax Collector, but also a writer.

Useless celebrity-mongering. There are far more interesting and meaningful ways to integrate contemporary popular culture and history of art. Please no more of this.

I was just commented because I was so bored. All of the comments do not have to be positive. If that's what was wanted then the comment section would only be open to people that liked the video. Even then people would find a way to comment. And, What was the point in YOUR comment?

***** So unnecessary to comment on something almost two years old. Haha, sorry, I forgot this comment existed actually.
