i finally caved and watched djats! i never read the book but was snooping on the discourse about the show on twitter when the eps were airing and i had to see these two for myself. don't get me wrong, i love camila and i don't doubt that billy loved her and it was the right decision at the time to be with her. then he and daisy could be together when they've matured and grown. ANYWAY i hope you enjoy!!

OH this is gorgeous!!!!!!!! love love love this song for these two and you edited it flawlessly (as always!) there were so many lyric matching moments in this edit that had me s c r e a m i n g -- like 0:36 'but I knew you' with daisy's 'I feel like I know you' line right into that shot of daisy dancing with the 'dancing in your levis' lyrics, and 0:46 billy's 'you made honeycomb better' with the 'baby kiss it better' lyric 1:06 - 1:28 was also particularly brilliant with the camilla/daisy parallels and what you did with the other 'I knew you' lyric and the 'giving me your weekends' lyric OKAY AND ALSO 2:25 billy's 'she just sees me' with the 'I knew you' lyric omg I guess I just love what you did with those lyrics, they just hit harder and harder with each repetition! also 3:03 - 3:06 ouch ouch OUCH and of course 3:14 to the end is just utter perfection, so tender and beautiful and my god I didn't even think I shipped them that much but this edit has be rethinking that!!!!! just wonderful work ♡
