I much prefer the old look, it now looks cheap and for 3yr olds, plus I really don't like I have to tap on and then tap off on items, it's slower and other items get hidden which is mega annoying. Why change a winning formula?

I’ve been in the Hay day game for 9 years and I’ve loved every update. Until this one. The new buttons are confusing and artificial looking. The gold simplicity of the other ones were best. I love the addition of the machines and trees and animals. No complaints there. It’s the buttons and the rearranging of them that is difficult to engage with. Games that try to change to look more artificial like this can lose a lot of their original fan base. I also saw a comment where someone said that they miss holding down for more info instead of tapping and then tapping off again. I agree. You all changed things around too much to fast.

Then we would have to upgrade the shed which would defeat the purpose of freeing stuff up. Do you think that the team would give away enough bonus items needed to upgrade it? I don't think so!

I am AMOOOOZED by the reactions to the new update. I’m so glad I’m not the only one who thinks this updated UI is so childish. I spend most of my time in helping tasks, filling boat orders, truck orders,town orders and reviving trees and bushes. Now, it’s so difficult to spot whether the farm still has the exclamation point on the name because it’s sooo flippin’ tiny sitting on the corner. Adding items in the production machines have become a mess and a giant waste of time. I understand that you don’t want to give us expansion materials easily because you want us to “play more and work towards getting it” 🙄 but seriously, if you just wanted to give the UI designers at the office more stuff to do, just ask them to give us a night mode. Another suggestion would be to add a game on Greg’s farm, or have us use the pets and sanctuary animals to perform tasks or make an alternate use for metals other than just making jewellery. Literally thousands of things you can do to make a more enjoyable game. Please don’t spoil this game, please. 🙏🏼

Some things are now more difficult to view clearly. It’s unfortunate that we aren’t given choices to set it up to our needs, like visually. I’m now forced to play on my iPad more, which is not as convenient. I hope to adjust to it soon. I’m frustrated at how HD has cluttered up the screen with all these little options. Yep. I hope I adjust to it in time. Right now, it hurts my eyes. 😮😢

Please either revert the new UI changes or add an option to enable legacy UI for the people who prefer it. You shouldn't revamp the UI on a 10+ year old game just because; it will upset/confuse your loyal playerbase. It's not a good change!!!!!

Second NOTE from a player who has been playing HAYDAY since it’s creation :- The newer machines are very pricey and requires huge amounts of ingredients unnecessarily. For ex : Fudge machine and Cupcake maker requires so much of sugar and butter which makes the machine difficult to use after installation and gets rarely used. Also why all similar machines for desert items only like fudge, donut, dry fruit, cupcake etc.r being added. There are so many Cuisines from other countries which can be included too (outside Europe). Specially from our country India where there are so many different kinds of cuisines like North Indian / South Indian / East and West Indian. Lots and lots of snack items , main course which could help u build at least 5 to 6 machines with unique items famous all over the world. Since u design the items so well, those items would look amazing once they are live in ur game in good looking machines. Hope u build some seeing this post Team Hayday @Hay Day

Is there a option to get the old layout back? The message button sticks out to much, other buttons are too small and when clicking on products it stays in the screen which is annoying if you want to move fast

I’ve played Hay Day for 10 years or more. It’s my guilty pleasure to unwind after work and this new upgrade makes it so difficult to play. It’s very frustrating when I love to play every day and haven’t been able to do it easily this week. The buttons are all harder and make it more difficult to see. Please consider changing the look to something easier for the adults who love to play. I really don’t want to have to find another game😩😩

Another idea I have is that when the boat leaves and the port tells you what products/items the next boat needs it would be very HELPFUL if it would also tell you how many of each product it requires. I find that sometimes a boat requires more and some boats require less. What happens is I don’t know if I have enough of that product so I start making several. When I get the boat and find out I already had enough in stock, then my production machine might be tied up finishing products I didn’t actually need to produce. Then if the next boat requires a product from that same machine I have to wait and finish the previous boat requirement that I completed before I can begin the new boat requirements. ALSO when some boats require a lot of jams, there simply is NOT enough time to meet the quota. I think jams take TOO LONG ago make in the first place. Some real times of 3,4,6,8 hours are simply TOO long to be waiting for some of these products. I don’t even think in real life it takes that amount of time to make apple, raspberry etc. jams.

Thr new look is amazing, but after so many years with the old can we get a setting for getting the old look?

The pop up menu that shows the qty of an item is too big. I can’t quickly press on each item because the menu covers up the other items.

I think it would be great to have a chance to buy or win random prizes from the past I see so many awesome articles on other farms that I will never get a chance to win. You could call it blast from the past. Or make them choices in the Derby prizes.

I agreee. I would love to get some of the Goat statues that I assume were from past Valley prizes. Blast from the past OR a TIME MACHINE would be a cool feature to stop off at different times/months/years and see items from that era you could purchase.

The idea I have would need to be implemented in lower levels. I think there should be a sawmill. Instead of trees getting cut down and disappearing...if the trees could go to the sawmill and be converted into lumber...perhaps the lumber could be sold or traded for land expansion items. ALSO. As higher levels get harder and harder I feel that One field plot and 12 diamonds is simply not enough reward for achieving the next level. And especially when you only get one field plot every other level. At Level 100 you get the gold tree are there other special decorations for other level milestones?

PLEASE make it so we can sell unwanted decorations in our roadside shop! Some of us don’t use many of them or have multiples of the same… it would be nice to get coin for them!

I’ve hated the new design of the bar where we see how many XP we have on that level, the big one was so much better!!!

Please make it easier to increase barn and sillow space

The colour change in chat makes it really hard to read anything, for me at least. The font isn’t sharp enough against the purple (I hate purple) so for me it blurs the font. It’s so bad.

I believe we need a tool shed for building/expansion supplies! As well as another dairy machine, especially because so much of what we make requires cream/butter/cheese/goat milk!

We need the weather changing in our farm like the sunshine and the rain 🌧️

Man..... This game was already my addiction and y'all are just making it better and better!! I love the ideas about a shed for tools, land or mining tools, and i love the ideas someone said about another dairy mill! Having a second sugar mill was a game changer for me... Having ac second dairy mill would be incredibly helpful! Thank you hay day for always making this game better and better! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

It would be nice to have an easier way to earn puzzle pieces since you guys keep adding more animals! also it would nice to have an easier way to earn vouchers too!

replying to myself to comment how horrible the update is, it makes the game glitchy & it lags, also it looks like a game for 3 year olds… also when tapping on material the extra information pops up & it doesn’t let me click off … please go back to the original system :(( I’ve been playing hay day for yearsss & now I don’t even want to play anymore, this update makes it difficult

They already said they have no plans for a 2nd dairy machine...I'd suggest hiring Ernest and Rose they help alot with keeping stock of the items you need most (sugar, milk, eggs etc..) idk what I'd do without having them

I wouldn't be able to keep up with cream, sugar, and animals feed If I didn't have them! But if u don't find them helpful that's fine, but I personally can't be without them lol

Please change the UI rework back to the way it was, it doesn’t feel the same as the old UI. Other than that I love all the other updates, and you guys do fantastic work!

What feature is really really annoying: That the list with the required items for producing something now stays after you touched what you want to produce. That makes it so insanely difficult to just look through the items of one machine and look what you can produce with it because the lists never disappear. (or only after some time) PLEASE change that back, it makes it SO annoying to play🥴

Bring back the old UI. Was WAY better than your new one. Old UI was actually like a farm game but the new one is more artificial. Bring the Old UI back or maybe have a toggle feature for the old and new UI.

Good morning, I wanted to ask and argument about the new spring update that has been put in the game. I don’t know if the developers and generally people in charge noticed, but a lot of people dislikes it. Me including… I’m kinda interested in knowing why you changed it because everything seemed to work properly ( from my point of view) and you even got a lot of new players this year. I’ve been playing since about 2015 I’ve always come to this game every now and then and it has been a great thing to do when I’ m under stress. Now it just doesn’t feel as welcoming as it used to :,). If you’re interested how people really view this update you could just type hay day into Tiktok’s search bar. Me and many others would appreciate the old format back. Thank you

I love all ideas, but I'm not on board with the second dairy. Second dairy = more cows. With that, the balance of animal goods is broken. Plus, I think a 3rd feed will help me keep up with the feeding.

You should add decoration elements for our farms in the catalogues. There is already a good base, but you can be very innovative and offer us decorations on different subjects. In return for diamonds or coins. I would like to decorate my farm and I can't find what I want in the catalogue. Too little choice unfortunately. Otherwise the game is great. 🎉

i love the button for farm pass, its practical for me. i also have no problem with the new desing, its cute but there’s one thing i cannot get to used to it and that’s when i click on a product i wanna make, i have to click twice. first to see what i need and second when i don’t wanna see. the old system was better in this way. but like i said, everything else i love!!!

The creators do such a great job keeping the game fun and challenging!

Should increase ability to get expansion permits or lower amount needed. Ridiculous how long it takes to expand. Plus now you added more of it.

I also do not understand the plot expansions on the other side of the road...some plots only take 5 expansion scrolls and then right next to it the plot takes 17 expansion scrolls and even seems to be a smaller plot. And some plots take 10 or 12 and have a special decoration and the one next door needs 10 or 12 but doesn’t have a special decoration. Seems to me plots with decorations would be worth more than without.

Yes two hours seems too long to wait for Tom. AND what is difficult for me to get full use out of TOM for 24 hours is to set my alarm and wake up every two hours during the night just to get 9 items and try to go back to sleep until the next two hours and DISRUPT my sleep again. We need to be able to set a Pause on Tom’s 24 hour period for the time during people’s REAL sleep time.

Hi Hay Day I have a good ideas for next upcoming updates.I will be happy to see Dates Tree.Products for Dates are Dates Syrup,Dates Cake,Dates Cupcake.And u can add an Oil making machine.Products can be sesame oil,sunflower oil etc.For the Pottery Studio the new products which u can add is-Clay Bricks which u can use for building.For New Crops u can add Roses,Jasmine and Raddish
