    new subscriber here watching from Canada,anything about a cow i just love it, i think the first thing that a farmer should consider in order of events is having enough feeds first before bringing in the herd, then for udder hygiene large farms use disposable paper towels for individual cows...

    Talk about where you get the cows...cost..etc. The cow shed measurements and the cost of construction.

    I think you should put into consideration feeds first before throwing shade, feeds take about 3-4 months to grow.

    You are beautiful now my question, which ratio of fodder acreage to cow number is required, example super Napier fodder, some says one acre one cow,

    Thankyou for your compliment.....I acre you can keep even upto 3 cows but remember you are mixing this fodder with other things like hay, daily meal and maybe silage

    Yes.....and that is why I said sawdust is better but for large scale farmers it might be hard to get enough sawdust
