Nice looking place! I'm curious if the quota system will allow you to expand and maintain a good lifestyle if you return to the farm, and maybe extend the legacy with your own family. I've heard it's not easy to do in Canada, but that's just "hearsay". I'm curious. Ok, I'm nosey.😂

The quota system has been great for us! I wouldn't farm without it. We can still grow at a steady pace and continue to be profitable. The quota system has helped the smaller family farms like us a lot. I'll never be rich farming, but I'll have everything I need.

Not often we generally need the milk so there are often no surplus cattle.

How wide and long are your tie stalls

I had to measure. The small stalls are all 5 feet 8 in long but usually range from 3 foot 10in to 4 foot 7in wide depends on where the posts are. The big stalls are all the same at 6 feet long and around 4 feet 8 to 4 feet 6 wide. The smallest stall in the barn would be 5" 8 by 3"3, and the biggest is 6 by 5. Fortunately, we have a lot of different sized cows.
